"How was the sleepover?" Yujin asked Dayeon, noticing how quickly Dayeon's expression changed. "It wasn't that bad." She shrugged. "That's fine then. I thought you would've been complaining all week to me and the rest about the sleepover." Yujin giggled, Dayeon also giggled quietly. 

"It was actually better than expected, although we did have a few small arguments." Dayeon said, trying to remember everything that happened. "Of course you did." Yujin rolled her eyes and laughed a bit. "Anyway, what class do you have first?" Dayeon suddenly changed the subject. "Science. You?" Yujin asked. "Geography." Dayeon groaned when she read her timetable. "This whole day will be the worst." She complained, pouting.

Soon she felt someone barging into her shoulder while walking past, it was one of Chaehyun's friends. "What was that for?!" Dayeon yelled at her and watched the girl turn around. "You were in my way." She simply replied and turned back to the front before walking away. Dayeon groaned and heard Yujin sigh. "Calm down." She said. "I am calm." Dayeon answered, shocking Yujin a bit. 

Normally Dayeon would run after the person that messed with her, but she didn't this time. Yujin slowly nodded, still slightly confused.

"Hikaru!" Dayeon yelled out and ran to the shorter girl. "Dayeon! How was the sleepover?" Hikaru immediately asked. "It was fine." Dayeon shrugged. "Oh." Hikaru answered, she also expected Dayeon to start complaining.

"Where's the rest?" Dayeon changed the subject, looking around. "Bahiyyih texted me saying that she would come a bit later. I don't know about the others though." Hikaru shrugged and looked down at her phone, reading a notification she received.

"Nevermind. They're coming now." Hikaru looked up at Dayeon and saw the rest behind her. "Yep, there they are." Hikaru pointed and Dayeon turned around. "Sorry! We saw a fight in a hallway so we had to record!" Youngeun said, immediately taking out her phone and shoving it into Dayeon's face to show her the fight.

 "Isn't that Chaehyun's boyfriend and ex?" Hikaru asked when Yujin showed her the recording. "I think so." Mashiro shrugged and sat down beside Yeseo. "Anyway, let's eat! I'm super hungry!" Yeseo took out her sandwich and bit into it.

"Kim Dayeon." Chaehyun said, stopping Dayeon once she passed her in the science hallway. "Chaehyun?" Dayeon awkwardly turned around. "Tell your mother that you can't come over today because you feel sick." Chaehyun simply said before turning back around and walking away, leaving Dayeon confused. 

"Why?" She said, watching Chaehyun stop and turn around again. "My mom invited you and your mother so they could talk and we could hangout. But, clearly, we both don't want to. So just tell her that you are sick." Chaehyun said, rolling her eyes when she saw Dayeon nod.

"Chaehyun!" A masculine voice was heard, both girls turning their heads to the direction they heard it. It was Chaehyun's boyfriend, he pushed Dayeon out of his way and hugged Chaehyun once he approached her.

 Chaehyun hesitantly hugged back, trying to ignore Dayeon's stare. Dayeon simply turned around and walked away, slightly stomping. She was jealous. But she shook her head and tried to ignore it. Stomping into her classroom and sitting down in her seat.

"Mom, I feel a bit sick. Do you think I could stay home while you're gone?" Dayeon awkwardly asked, looking away. "You know I can't leave you alone because of what happened the last time I did." Dayeon's mother rolled her eyes. "But that was almost two years ago now!" Dayeon complained, using her fork to play with her food. 

"I still don't trust you being alone! You literally snuck out of the house just to meet a friend! It was almost midnight, Dayeon!" Her mother reminded her, standing up and taking her plate to the sink. "I'll be good this time. I promise!" Dayeon also stood up and placed her plate into the sink while her mother was washing her own. 

"You're going either way." Dayeon's mother shrugged. "But-" Dayeon was cut off, "Nope! No buts! You're going. You said the sleepover was fine. So maybe the hangout could be better! And we both know you're not sick." Dayeon's mother shook her head slowly after she finished talking. Dayeon groaned loudly and stomped upstairs.

Dayeon almost fainted when she saw the large mansion once again. 

"Mom, can we go home?" She asked, receiving a sarcastic laugh from her mother. She groaned and stepped out of the car, walking towards the door and waiting for her mother.

Her mother knocked on the front door and it opened immediately, revealing Chaehyun's mother, smiling widely at both of them. "Come in!" She stepped aside and let them enter. Dayeon looked around and saw Chaehyun glaring at her from the couch, she nervously smiled.

Her smile soon disappeared when she watched Chaehyun approach her. "Do you mind if I borrow Dayeon for a quick second?" She asked Dayeon's mother and smiled, grabbing Dayeon's arm once her mother nodded her head. 

Chaehyun dragged her into the kitchen and started speaking, "What are you doing here? I thought I told you to tell your mother that you're sick?" Chaehyun crossed her arms and leaned onto the counter. "I tried, okay? But my mom knows me too much; she knew I was lying! And she still doesn't trust me staying home alone!" Dayeon explained, watching as Chaehyun's expression softened, "Fine. Just don't talk to me. Only speak when you're spoken to." Chaehyun said and left, Dayeon followed behind her and mocked her silently.
