Her mother looked up, her face full of confusion. "Why so suddenly?" She asked. "I just wanted to check on her." Dayeon shrugged, avoiding her mother's stare. "Why? Did something happen?" Her mother questioned again, placing her fork down. "It doesn't matter. Can we go?" Dayeon asked, impatiently this time.

"Sure. But not for long, I have to do something." Her mother stood up and took her plate, walking to the kitchen and placing it into the sink. "Thanks." Dayeon replied and also put her sink into the sink, leaving her mother in the kitchen and walking upstairs.

"Dayeon? Are you coming or not?" Her mother called out, waiting in front of the door. "I'm ready now!" Dayeon rushed downstairs and ran to her mother. "Okay, let's go." Her mother opened the door and walked out, heading to the car. Once Dayeon buckled up her seatbelt, her mother started the engine and drove away from her house.

"Oh! Hello!" Chaehyun's mother opened the door, surprised to see Dayeon and her mother again. "Hey. Sorry it was so sudden! Dayeon wanted to check on Chaehyun." Dayeon's mother explained, awkwardly smiling. "Don't worry! Come in!" Chaehyun's mother smiled widely and moved away from the door, letting Dayeon and her mother step inside the large house.

"Chaehyun is upstairs in her room, Mrs." One of Chaehyun's maids informed Chaehyun's mother. Dayeon heard the maid and walked away, climbing the stairs and knocking on Chaehyun's pink door. "Come in!" Chaehyun yelled from inside, not bothered to open the door.

"Dayeon? What are you doing here?" Chaehyun immediately sat up when she saw her. "I'm here to see how you are doing." Dayeon answered, walking closer to Chaehyun and stopping in front of her bed.

"Oh... The cap and jacket are on the chair." Chaehyun pointed at her chair. "I forgot about these." Dayeon said and walked to the chair, grabbing the cap and the jacket before walking back to Chaehyun.

"How are you feeling?" Dayeon asked carefully. "Better." Chaehyun simply answered, still surprised that Dayeon came over to check on her. "That's good." Dayeon smiled awkwardly, looking around the room. "You can sit if you want." Chaehyun suddenly said but Dayeon shook her head, "I won't be here for long anyway." Dayeon said and Chaehyun nodded slowly.

Soon, someone started knocking on the door, startling both of the girls. "I'll get it." Dayeon turned around and walked to the door before opening it. "We have to go now, Dayeon. Say bye to Chaehyun and I'll wait downstairs. Don't take too long." It was Dayeon's mother. Dayeon nodded and closed the door, turning back around to face Chaehyun.

"See you tomorrow?" Dayeon questioned, still holding onto the door handle. "Maybe." Chaehyun shrugged and looked down at her lap awkwardly. Dayeon nodded and opened the door before walking out and slowly closing it behind her.

She walked down the stairs slowly and smiled at Chaehyun's mother, who stood beside Dayeon's mother. "Bye girls! We hope to see you again soon!" Chaehyun's mother opens the door and smiles at them. She follows them outside to the car and says bye again. Dayeon was about to open the car door but something stopped her.

Or someone.

"Wait!" Chaehyun ran outside and hugged Dayeon tightly, startling the shorter girl. "What is this for?" Dayeon slowly wraps her arms around Chaehyun, still shocked. "For helping me in school." Chaehyun simply said and pulled away, backing away from Dayeon and smiling, also shocked by her actions. "You're welcome...?" Dayeon said, which sounded more like a question.

"See you tomorrow." Chaehyun said before turning around and walking back inside the house, leaving Dayeon, who was still thinking about the sudden hug.

"Dayeon?" Dayeon's mother snapped Dayeon out of her thoughts. "Sorry!" Dayeon quickly opened the door and sat onto the passenger seat before buckling her seatbelt. Dayeon's mother started the car and drove away and Dayeon noticed that her bike was still there, in front of Chaehyun's house. She slowly shook her head and smiled.
