Chapter 1- Where it all started

Author Note: Hey guys this is the first book that I'm gonna try to be dedicated to actually complete, if there are errors, misspelling please be kind and point them out for me the book has been edited as yet. I stared through the window of the bus looking at the world pass by, a thousand things running through my head dont even know what I want, just feeling feelish. I'm hell-bound on a boy who acts like I dont even exist a mother who always takes out her problems on me and beat my fragile body until shes pleased. Sometimes I feel like grabbing the razor and just start cutting without stopping but then I remember my long-wanting dreamI want so much for my future and I wont let anyone stop me from achieving them, I wont stop until I prove everything they said about me wrong. I currently have 3 months left in high school and Im technically going through a brainstorming stressing stage of mock exams. At this moment I just want the bus to final reach my stop.

Meli, are you joining us online tonight to study for maths exam tomorrow? one of my classmate Stephen asked me.

Uhh.yh maybe Ill think about it I shrugged.

The bus came to an abrupt stop and I stood from my seat to get off.

Bye meli Stephen waved at me.

Bye Stephen I replied. See you tomorrow

I walked out the bus door feeling my feet connect to hard ground, I took off my mask and breathed in the fresh air. This has been a long day, I sighed and started walking down the path that lead to my house. I walked for a good 5 minutes before reaching my house and opened the door and went inside I had a good half and hour before my brothers reached home so I wanted to make good use of it. I kicked off my boots, walked to my room and threw my bag on my bed. I immediately dived into the comfort of the bed that I shared with my little brother and released all my burdens and stressed I was feeling at the moment. I laid there for around 3 minutes until I heard my stomach starting to grumble, I groaned loudly and got up to walk to the kitchen to find something to eat. I opened the fridge and groaned even more loudly when I saw it didnt contain any good food, I grabbed a box of milk, a pack of lays from the cabinet opened it and threw bottled pepper in shook the bag of lays and went outside on the porch to devour my snack. As I walked through the front door, my eyes caught on someone walking pass and I immediately start praying please look over here please please but as usually he walked with his head held straight without even turning once to look at the house or me, that really hurts every time he does that, sigh.

That was Tavaray, my cousin?, I think.uhhh, its just complicated, well it all started when my cousin introduced him to me and my friend Lilly.

So what do you wanna do? Lilly asked me

I dont really know I'm just bored I replied.

Girlll sameeeee, she slurred.

Hey whos that? I said, my eyes catching a tall, light skinned boy approaching us along with my cousin Sala.

Heyy, wassup meli, liah Sala said greeting us.

Heyyy cuz Im okay whos this I asked curiously.

Oh how rude of me.Meli this is Chad.Chad.meli and liah this is chadchad liah He said introducing us.

Its nice to meet you guys he said with a smirk on his face.

I dont like him already I said to myself.

Why? Chad asked
