Adeline's pov

"I hate her " it was now me and Matteo everyone else was fast asleep

I picked another beer up cause why not ?

"Okay thats enough for today " he took the bottle out of my hands and placed it on the table

"You know whats funny " i asked laughing, probably the alcohol

He waited for me to answer and i could see his eyes were sorry for me

"I was always the shitty daughter,"

"The ungrateful one " i again took my beer and before he could even react i raised my hand to stop him

Againn cant you be a little more careful im tired of taking you to the hospital

"I feel the same " matteo spoke while we laughed our drunk asses

"Tell me about you " i felt like i was the only one talking

"Hows your sister?" I asked knowing her condition was really bad

"She um.. shes holding up "he said and his eyes started tearing

His sister had a heart problem and needed immediately a heart transplant.

I got up from the floor and went to the couch next to him

I tapped my lap for him to come

"Shes worse isnt she ?" I asked not really wanting to hear his answer

"Yeah the doctor says any minute "i was playing with his hair which is so soft

"She will make it " i stated

"How are you so sure ?"

"Look at you . She is just like you strong."

He smiled at that before saying this

"I did it for her . Everything im doing is for her"

Im not so sure what he was talking about

As if he was reading my mind he said this

And now i was sure he was talking about the drugs

My heart ached for him , i knew he wasnt so open about his family but now he didn't care

"But i had to otherwise my sister wouldn't be able to have all these surgeries ."
