Optimus looked around the destruction of Chicago, this was somehow all his fault, he told the humans who to trust, he never knew Sentinel was going to betray them.

He heard ped steps behind him but didn't turn around.

"Come on Optimus, we need to find your arm."

"Not now Ratchet I need time to think."Optimus said not even turning around.

Ratchet didn't reply and turned around to walk away."I am open if you need repairs."

Optimus watched his old friend go away, he walked further into the rumble and looked around.

Flipped over cars, dead humans lying everywhere and collapsed buildings.

All his fault...

He heard something, he looked around, looking for the source.

He followed the sounds to a human girl, she had purple and pink hair which was shaved at the side, a red sweater which was covered in dust and dirt and a red plaid skirt, white tights and black boots, her face was covered in dirt and tears as she cried over a woman but not the man beside
her.

Optimus made his self known by stepping beside the girl, who turned and faced him but jumped away and grabbed a metal pipe, her tearful look replaced by a hateful and angry look.

"You did this!"It was more of a statement than a question.

She gestured to the woman and the man lying on the ground outside the flipped over car.

Optimus stared at the girl and his gaze went
to the woman and man lying on the ground, he scanned them but didn't find a pulse.

"They're dead."

"I know that and don't remind me!"The girl yelled but tears welled in her eyes."That woman is my mother and that man is her boyfriend."

"I am sorry for your loss."Optimus said.

"You didn't do it,"She said, wiping her tears."You would have killed me ever since."

She thrusted the metal pipe away, staring at her mother.

Suddenly, a bark was heard, the two turned their head in the direction and out came a dog.

"A bulldog?"She caught the dog and
rubbed it head.

"What is your name."Optimus asked.

"Xui Wong,"She answered and turned to the dog."And I will call you Bark because you can bark."

The bulldog barked again causing her to chuckle but it was sad.

Optimus bent on one knee and out stretched his only arm."Climb on."

Xui took one last look at her mother's corpse and quickly looked away when she felt tears come to her eyes again.

She grabbed Bark and climbed on Optimus' servo, Optimus placed her on his shoulder before standing to his full height and walking away.

"This is your room mam."A solider said before walking away leaving Xui alone.

Optimus had taken her to this place called a 
NEST base and she had been led to a room, she locked the door before walking to the bed, not bothering to take a shower or take
off her boots as she laid on her bed.

Finally, letting it out, she begun to cry, Bark looked sympathy and jumped until the bed,
Xui wasted no time in grabbing Bark and hugging him.

"Good night Bark."

The bulldog barked in respond and the room went dark as Xui switched off the lamp on the drawer.
