Xui wooed in joy and shrieked in happiness as Sideswipe sped down the hangers of the NEST base, she put her head outside the window enjoying the breeze that hit her face at high speed.

Soldiers jumped out of the way when they saw the speeding Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coming their way.Xui laughed at their scared faces but screamed in fear when she saw Optimus and another man in a conversation.

"Sideswipe stop!"She yelled.

"Hold on!"Sideswipe yelled and suddenly his interior started shifting.

"Sideswipe!"Xui yelled but suddenly found herself and Bark in Sideswipe's servo.

"Let try something else."She breathed clutching her chest.

Bark whimpered in fear.

"Agree."Sideswipe agreed.

Sideswipe transformed into vehicle mode again with Xui and Bark and sped away but this time at a moderate speed.

After getting premission from Optimus, they three left the base to a hill in a small town.

Xui came down with Bark hopping out after her and sat on his hood, Bark in her arms as she combed through his fur, her expression dropped as she watched evening sun set.

"Did you always have a dog?"Sideswipe asked in his vehicle mode.

"No,"Xui replied."I never had a dog, when Optimus took me in, Bark jumped right out of the rumble and we became friends, I have a feeling Bark understands what am going through because maybe he lost someone before maybe his owner."

Bark looked up at Xui with eyes full of emotion.

"Xui who were your creators?"Sideswipe asked, a little hesitation in his voice.

Xui chuckled but it was sad."My dad was a manger of a distributing company and my mom was a class teacher and I was their only car, we were a happy small family but everything changed, my dad begun to get angry and hostile towards us, he would break things, he would shout at my mom and hit her, we never knew what was wrong with him until he called for a divorce and my mom accepted it."

She sucked in a deep breath before continuing."I was tired, I dyed my hair purple and pink, I never wanted to be a push over again,"Her eyes lowered not angrily but sadly."My mom was depressed at dad leaving us and me changing my hair colour but she recovered when she meet a guy called Jason."

Tears welled in Xui's optics."He was a pizza delivery man and I hated him, my mom moved us to Chicago, a new start while they were happy, I was furious and that when all hell broke looses, alien spaceships everywhere, my mom trying to gain control over the car and everything went dark..."

"AND AM STILL ANGRY AT MY DAD!"She suddenly yelled getting up from Sideswipe's hood, Bark jumping out of her arms.

Tears streamed down her cheeks violently and she fell to the ground.

She heard the sound of shifting metal but didn't look back, she felt Sideswipe's finger
touch her back but didn't look up.

"I am so sorry Xui."Sideswipe apologized."I didn't know."

She didn't respond but held on to Bark who came to her.

Sideswipe looked away."Let get back to base."
