The Robot And Family

Mission

Sideswipe sped into the hangar and transformed into bipedal mode with Xui and Bark.

All the Autobots where there including Optimus and Lennox. Xui looked around confused.

"What happening?"

Optimus looked around as to see if everyone were complete before he began speaking.

"NEST computers have detected a strange energon signal and we are to scout it, I will assign you all to your positions."

Xui smirked."A mission, I like the sound of that."

"Sideswipe you are with Bumblebee and Dino, Ratchet you are with me, Autobots, transform and roll out!"

Optimus commanded as he transformed into vehicle mode and sped out of the hangar with the Autobots following him and several NEST vehicles following after.

...

"I cannot believe it, I am on a mission!"Xui said excitedly as she looked out of Sideswipe's window at the other Autobots who didn't seem to notice her inside.

Sideswipe radio cracked to live."Naturally, I should have left you back at base."

Xui rolled her eyes."Then what are guardians used for?"

"I am suppose to protect you, I am just bringing you into Danger."Sideswipe said.

"Well, too late to back down."Xui said.

:Autobots, we are arriving at the building, proceed with stealth:Optimus voice said on Sideswipe's com link.

:Roger that:Sideswipe replied and his com link went off.

Sideswipe drove towards what resembled a parking lot and parked there, Xui looked around and Bark started barking at Sideswipe's driver window.

Xui looked at the bulldog."Bark would you keep it down, Optimus said we should proceed with stealth and you are not helping."

But Bark barks only grow louder to a point he started growing.

Sideswipe's com link came on.

:Something is not right:Optimus said.

"What isn't right?"Xui asked blowing her cover that she was in Sideswipe but watching action movies, she knew when a character said something not right, something bad was about to happen.

:Sideswipe-:

But what Optimus was about to say was replaced by static.

:Optimus, Optimus you there:Sideswipe tired but he heard more static. And turned it off.

"Frag, something jammed the com links."

"What jammed the com links?"Xui questioned, she could feel her body start to tremble in fear, she looked down at Bark and was surprised to see the bulldog was trembling in fear too.

Vehicles that were definitely not NEST, came out from hidden places.

"Scrap, Xui get down from me."Sideswipe said as he opened his passenger door.

Xui grabbed Bark and got out of Sideswipe vehicle mode and hid behind him.

The vehicles started to fire at Sideswipe and he quickly transformed, unshattered his  blades and sliced the vehicle into two.

"Xui get out of here!"Sideswipe yelled as blasted at the vehicles firing at him causing them to explode.

Xui got to her feet and begun to run away, all the Autobots had transformed to engage 
the vehicles and soon Xui found herself beside Optimus who had just transformed.

"Xui, what are you doing here?!"Optimus as he stared down at the human surprised, his battle mask sliding on as he transformed his servo into his rifle.

"Hello."Xui said as with an awkward toothy grin and a wave of her hand as her other held Bark.

"Prime."

They heard a metallic voice yell and the two turned their heads towards a bot that emerged from the fog.

"Lockdown."Optimus said.

"Y-You know him."Xui questioned as she pointed at Lockdown.

The bot's slow walk turned into sprints as he jumped at Optimus causing Xui to jump out of the way before the bot landed on her.

She backed away and suddenly heard gun fire behind her, she looked back to see the NEST soldier fighting the unknown soldiers.

"Autobots!"

She heard Optimus yell.

"Get out of here!"

She ran around, looking for Sideswipe.

"Sideswipe!"

She yelled looking around for the silver Autobot.

"Sideswipe where are you!"She yelled looking around.

"Xui!"

She spun around to see a battle damaged Sideswipe who had transformed into vehicle mode.

"Get in!"

Xui wasted no time in jumping into Sideswipe, Sideswipe shut his passenger door and sped away.

Xui passed Bark into the backseat and looked out of Sideswipe's passenger window to see black cars chasing them.
