You are woken up quite rudely, a woman who must be the caretaker yells at everyone get up. You hear a sigh come from next to you "morning.. " Edward says in a hushed tone as he stretches and hops off the bed.you smile at him "let's go before we get yelled at. " you hop off the bed and follow closely behind him "since it's your first day they won't be too harsh with you" you nod not knowing what he ment by that "#####! What happened to you hair why is it all uneven and short!!" The lady yells you look around confused *who's #####??" Edward flinches "sorry... " you look at Edward confused *his name isn't #####? It's Edward this lady must be mistaken!* "stupid girl! " the lady yells *girl..?" You look at Edwards face tears are beginning to form in his eyes. He doesn't respond and wipes his eyes. He begins walking again,you follow. You stare at him hoping he would explain what that lady was talking about "y/n...?" You continue to stare at him and point at the lady "oh yeah ignore her, shes an idiot" you nod. You look out the big dusty windows,it's still raining you smile you've always liked when it rained it had some sort of comforting aspect to it and it calmed you down when you were stressed. "You must love rain.. " Edward says you nod "your smile is...lovely" your smile gets wider as a pink tint spreads across your face

One month later

"Y/n!" Edward calls out,you turn around to see him holding a bracelet "I made this for you, I have one too" he hands you the bracelet "we can... Match!" You put the bracelet on your wrist and wrap your arms around him "oh!" He tenses up a bit before hugging you back. "Y/n!" The caretaker yells making you jump "I don't know what she wants now" Edward sighs, you shrug and head towards her "we have a couple here, they're looking to adopt" *no no no no what about Edward* you frown and shake your head "don't tell me this has to do with ##### that girl is-" a couple walks in "well you must be y/n! It's nice to meet you hun" you fake a smile "just a heads up" the caretaker says "he doesn't talk ever since.. Well you know" she puts her hand on your shoulder."I think we'll adopt him!" The man says "NO!" you yell "NO NO NO NO" the caretaker grabs your wrist roughly and pulls you away "listen here you brat, you are not going to make this difficult now go grab your things" tears begin to form in your eyes as you storm off "y/n.." Edward rushes over to you "what.. What happened?? What's wrong" "im.. I'm leaving edward, I'm adopted they're taking me" you sob "y/n..ill miss you so much" he grabs your face "but this is for the better you're going to a better place" you can see the tears in his eyes "don't cry y/n please"he wipes your tears "ok edward, but before I go.. " "what is it y/n?" "Why does that lady call you a girl and #####?" He sighs "well...i was born a girl but I'm not I not a girl and I never will be I'm a boy she just doesn't think I am.." You hug him "I'll miss you edward promise to never forget me ok?" You sniff "I would never forget you y/n" he squeezes you "maybe we can find each other" he let's go "you should probably get your stuff" you nod
