NOAH LAUGHED AS Jayden rushed to the nearest trash can after The Follower. Noah pointed the camera at Jayden and Ryan helped him out by holding his hair back. Then, switching it to Mason and Ashur. ¨So, are you guys hungry?¨ Noah laughed, not having an appetite. In fact, when was the last time he'd eaten?  Noah knew the beast wouldn't stay dormant for long. ¨I wouldn't mind eating something. Didn't you have a place to show us, Ashur?¨ Mason sneezes. ¨Sorry.¨ Mason sniffles. ¨That would be for dinner, not lunch.¨ Ashur nods. ¨I'm not hungry but I could go for something to drink.¨ Ashur sat on an empty space on the ground by the trash can. Jayden spits out the remaining whatever and sat down. ¨This is all your fault, Ryan.¨ Jayden says weakly. ¨It was a 50/50 chance!¨ Ryan shrugged. Noah wasn't hungry, was he ever this slim? He couldn't remember. After a long while, they all agreed to go have lunch. Noah was in the back, capturing the subjects in front of the camera sight. ¨So, are we riding Sub-Zero next? After, that is.¨ Ryan said, walking down the rainbow-colored sidewalk as the place came into view. ¨Didn't we ride that already?¨ Noah asked, trying to remember. ¨No?¨ Mason said, giving a worried glance toward Noah. Noah suddenly remembered they didn't, his memory wasn't the only thing troubling him recently. The Musketeers then made it to the place and it was called ¨The Nygra'. Noah thought it was a cool name but Ashur squinted at it for a few seconds. ¨Damn, nice name.¨ Jayden coughed. Ashur walked in first, whilst Mason followed behind, and Ryan and Jayden walked and talked together. The place had a coffee shop vibe with wooden floors and gray walls. With vibrant paintings on the walls of the food shop. They made their way to the front of the place and waited by a sign that said ¨Please Wait To Be Seated.¨ Ryan sat next to Mason, and Jayden stood and leaned slightly on the wall. Ashur went to go wash his hands before he ate.  Suddenly, a pale guy walked to the front desk, skinny and tall, with bright pink pastel hair, piercings in his nose, lip and ears.  When, they entered the place Noah turned the camera off, just because other people were in there, and they wanted just to enjoy some food.

¨Hello. How many are we seating today?¨ The pale man said, and Noah looked for a name.

Lars.

¨Five, maybe six. Is Rye coming?¨ Ryan asks. ¨I didn't see her this morning.¨ Ryan says, glancing at the group. Noah didn't remember seeing Rye this morning, or last night. ¨No, I think she left early. She texted me this morning. She said she had to go, something came up.¨ Jayden says dryly. Noah could tell he missed her. ¨Okay, then just five.¨ Ryan turns to Lars and Lars gives a somewhat superficial smile. ¨Booth or table or barside?¨ Lars asks his hazel eyes looking at Mason. ¨A booth.¨ Mason said, and the group nodded in approval. Lars nods and the group follows him. The booth reminded Noah of the older types of diners, red cushioned seats and checkered tables. It was one of the larger ones that curves into a horse-shoe shape. ¨Hey, Mason?¨ Jayden asked. Noah picked up and glanced at a menu, steaks, cheeseburgers, desert, soup, and sea food. Noah wasn't hungry at all, he had a empty stomach, but yet didn't feel the need to eat.

He felt empty.

Empty wasn't so bad.

In fact, it felt good.

It was nice to be numb and empty sometimes.

¨When Ashur comes out the bathroom could you signal him over?¨ Jayden says to Mason as the waitress walks by. ¨Sure.¨ Mason says dryly. Mason stands up and walks away from the table saying ¨I want a water.¨ Ryan nodded and put the menu down. ¨Are you fellows ready to get some drinks?¨ The waitress asks, light blonde hair ran down her shoulder past her hips, she had black eyes with a uniform on. ¨Yeah, we'll get a water, and a Diet Coke, and...¨ Ryan said, naming off his and Masons drinks. ¨I'll have a Sprite.¨ Noah says, a dry taste in his mouth.¨I'll get a Lemonade.¨ Jayden said. Mason soon returned with Ashur. ¨We're getting drinks.¨ Ryan said softly. ¨Oh, then i'll have a...Coke.¨ Ashur sat down by Mason. ¨I'll get those right out for you.¨ The waitress smiled. ¨Thanks.¨ The group said in collective unison. She smiles and makes her way to the back where the kitchen was.  Ryan gave Noah a look that Noah wasn't used to from his best friend. Someone he trusted with his life, suddenly he questioned that trust. His empty stomach rolled in cartwheels. And his heart sank into his stomach. Noah looked at each of his friends in a new light. Mason Karter Gray, a nice guy who only helped people when he got something in return. A good faker, each of them knew how to hide something, especially Mason. Mason had tricked Noah a few times, or played mind games with him. Jayden Rick Garreth, a body-builder and coach, physically stronger than the rest of the group. Jayden is a bit sensitive, but he had a scary and rough personality past the bravado he hid behind. Jayden was bad liar but was good at bluffing. Bluffing like you test someone when you make a bet when you gamble. He could always make words sound so nice. Ashur William Fox, Ashur was a bit easier to notice when hes emotional or hurt, or even angry. Ashur didn't trust many people, most people he met gave him a nervous streak. It took a while for Ashur to trust Noah, and honestly? Noah felt powerful, knowing that whatever he did Ashur would always comply. Since he trusted him. Ashur was naive and gullible. Ryan Andrew Nickson, knowing that Nathaniel and Ryan were twins he could assume they were alike. Nathaniel was currently a biologist, who experimented with mutation chemicals to see how the affected the subject. Ryan, on the other hand while working on his channel he had a part-time job to bring in some extra cash. Ryan was quite innocent, and trusting. Ryan believed that everyone could be a good person. Noah felt that for some people, they could never change. Ryan, played the violin once in a while, Ryan was trusting but too stubborn and he knew which buttons to push. He knew how to push someone over the edge, and Noah had succumb to his charms more than once. Each one of the musketeers had their own way of sending someone to their breaking point. And so did Noah.
