"...I think there just might be a way for Link to get to the Twilight Realm." Link's eyes widened and he practically flung himself at the sassy bartender."Please Telma, tell me, tell me now. I need to get __f/n__ back." Link pleaded, desperation clear in his voice.
"Of course, child. I'll tell you on the way there; we've got no time to lose. In the mean time, just follow me."
Telma grabbed a coat off a rack in the corner of the bar before motioning for the whole group to follow her. They ran through the vacant castle town marketplace, only accompanied by their shadows and echoing foot steps. After a while, they arrived at a quaint stable house. Telma stealthily opened the creaky wooden doors and tip toed inside as to not startle the horses slumbering inside. The group followed close behind Telma.
She walked quickly over to a stable where a dark brown quarter horse stood staring at her expectantly and her plump face lit up with loving warmth. She stroked the horse's nose briefly before slipping a bridle around his head and a bit into his mouth. After giving him one more gentle pat on the head, Telma led her horse over to what Link recognized as her wagon and hooked him up.
"All right guys, hop in the back," Telma instructed as she hoisted herself into the driver's seat."May we at least know where we are heading off to before we just charge off into a crazy journey? Some of us have more grown up matters to attend to than rescuing some 'damsel in distress'... We all know it to be impossible for Zant to have come back to life, and the Mirror of Twilight, the only portal between our realms, was shattered. There is no possible way this story is true. In fact, this whole carfoffle is probably just a delusion brought about by post traumatic stress. I've seen it in plenty of soldiers before." Auru discounted.
If Link had been angry with Auru during the argument before, now he was absolutely livid. He glared at Auru with an overwhelming, intense fury, before launching himself blindly at the cynical old man.
"LINK!" Rusl leaped in front of Auru and tackled the furious, rage-driven Link to the ground. "Now is NOT the time to be fighting! We need to focus on the task at hand!" He held Link in place on the stony stable floor by his shoulders and stared authoritatively into Link's swimming eyes before rolling off of him and offering him a hand up.
"Auru, I think it'd be for the best if you remained here." Rusl said calmly as he turned to face the man. Auru nodded and 'harumph'ed gruffly before stomping away into the shadowy streets.
The others cleared their throats and shuffled around uncomfortably, and Link looked at them shamefully.
"I-I'm so sorry. I don't know what got into me." Link hung his head in shame at his violent outburst."Auru was out of line, and you're under a lot of stress." Rusl said with a reassuring pat on the back. Link shook his head and cleared his thoughts of the incident. He needed to focus on (__f/n__) right now.
"Alrighty then, now that ya'll got all of that anger and awkwardness outta the way, let's get a freakin' move on." Telma chuckled with an odd happiness that greatly contrasted with the palpable tension in the room.
"Um, Telma? If you don't mind me asking, why're you so happy?" Shad questioned quietly as he climbed into the back of the wagon.
"Because I get to see my dear Renado!" she sighed contently. Link jumped into the wagon and helped Rusl up.
"So we're going to Kakariko Village then." Ashei concluded flatly as she hoisted herself in next to the others.
"Mhmm, yes indeed!" Telma affirmed dreamily. "Everybody in? Good! HYAH!"
And they were on their way into the inky night.

'Oh goddess, what was I thinking?!,' You screamed in your mind as you stumbled down the shadowy corridors of Zant's castle. After Zant ordered you out of the bedroom in his furious stupor, he quickly realized his moronic mistake and immediately sent for his guards to find you at all costs. Now you were scrambling around this massive labyrinth of a palace and you had no clue how you were going to escape with every servant and guard alike searching for you. You'd been hiding for about an hour now and were beginning to lose hope.
As you were scuffling stealthily down a particularly musty hallway, a pair of pale arms shot out from a doorway and yanked you inside. You opened your mouth to scream, but a chilly hand pressed itself across your mouth. "Are you trying to get us both killed?! Be quiet!" your assailant whispered harshly. You strained your neck around to catch a glimpse of this person and felt your whole body go cold. Your astonished (__e/c__) eyes met with a pair of brilliant scarlet orbs belonging to a face that you could paint blindfolded.
"Link?!" you gasped, finally breaking free of his vice."Tch. Not exactly." The Link-look-alike said. It was then that you noticed how pale his skin was, and how his hair was an unusual ashy silver. His garbs were as dark as the gloomy shadows of twilight.
"Who... Who are you then?" you asked, your heart clenching in pain at the beautiful face that was so familiar, yet belonged to a stranger.
"We don't have time to talk right now," the stranger whispered. The thunder of armored men running down the hallway met your ears and you went numb with fear. "Drink this." The stranger commanded as he thrust a peculiar purple potion in your face."Why should I trust-AUGH!" Before you could finish your sentence, the man forced the liquid down your throat. You gagged and shuddered before collapsing to the chilly floor. You screamed as you rolled about, writhing in indescribable pain. You felt as if you were going to pass out.
Just then, the door to the room burst open, and you heard the guards pour in. "This is it. This is the end." you thought darkly to yourself as black spots overwhelmed your vision and you slipped into unconsciousness.
