Tamia flipper her hair behind her back as she opened her locker and started to put her books back into her locker, it was lunch time which meant Tamia would be seeing Chrissy soon. "Jason, for the last time, I don't want to date you." Tamia heard a familiar voice say, she rolled her eyes as she closed her locker loudly and turned around, her boots made a squeak against the floor but she saw Chrissy talking to Jason but Chrissy had an expression that Tamia knew all too well.
"Jason, she already said no so back off." Tamia loudly said to Jason as he walks over to the two of them, when Chrissy sees Tamia coming to her rescue she visibly relaxed. "Come on Christine, I don't know why you're friends with this-" Tamia tensed when Jason opened his mouth but Tamia stopped him. "You say the next word and my foot will be so far up your ass you'll taste leather for a week, now go away Jason or you'll be eating with a straw." The two girls watched as Jason paled slightly before running a hand through his hair and backing away from them with a sigh.
As soon as he was out of earshot Chrissy turned towards Tamia with a sigh. "Thank you, of course but I'm sorry that you have to deal with that." Chrissy frowned as she turned back towards her locker and started to place the books in her locker so they can go to lunch. "Even if he wasn't obsessed with you I would still get that, so unfortunately it is not you. But defending your honor makes up for it." Tamia smugly says as she walks next to Chrissy down the hall towards the lunch room. Chrissy rolls her eyes fondly as Tamia dramatically bows as she opens the door for Chrissy.
"Are sitting outside again?" Chrissy asks in a low voice as they get in the line. "I think so," Tamia replies as she looks around at the busy lunch room, she has a slight smile on her face when she sees her best friend Eddie Munson sitting with the rest of the Hellfire Club, she doesn't understand DND but she knows how passionate Eddie is about it. "Awesome," Chrissy says bumping her shoulder slightly into Tamia's, she smiles as she watches the lunch lady plop their food on their plate.
The two of them pushed past the students to walk outside out of the side door of the lunch room, they walked around for a little bit before Chrissy decided to plop down in the grass instead of sitting on one of the benches, Tamia looks at Chrissy amused but she sits down next up crossing her legs. "We got pizza, a soggy salad, a fruit subtense surrounded with jelly, and of course can't forget about the chocolate milk." Tamia picks up the slightly wet chocolate milk box and shakes it around in the air as she starts to open it. "Hey, I love you," Chrissy says suddenly, Tamia raises her brows and looks at Chrissy in shock, it wasn't the first time Chrissy's said this to Tamia but it was always shocking when Chrissy said it on school grounds.
"Are you all right baby?" Tamia keeps her voice low as she talks just to make sure no one would hear them. "I am just been stressed out lately." Chrissy sadly says as she picks up her pizza and starts to nibble on it. "Well, have you ever thought about talking to someone about it?" Tamia suggests softly making Chrissy shrug. "I've thought about it but I'm just scared if I go to a professional that it will get back to my parents." Tamia frowns but lets the subject drop, she knows that Chrissy's parents are the type to not believe in therapy.
Tamia notices that by the time Chrissy gets through half her pizza Tamia has already finished all of it that's when Tamia gets an idea. "Hey, I have to work tonight at Hawk but why don't you come over to the theater, just chill, and maybe I can sneak you into a movie?" Tamia wiggles her eyebrows suggestively making Chrissy chuckle slightly, it was quite literally music to Tamia's ears to hear Chrissy laugh, even if it was only a slight chuckle.
"I want to but I can't. I have cheer practice and my parents are making me go to church tonight." Chrissy takes a small bite of the soggy salad. "Shit right it's Wednesday, I'm sorry I forgot. Maybe tomorrow?" Tamia looks at Chrissy with a hopeful look in her eyes, instead of responding Chrissy shrugs, Tamia looks away and tries to blink away the tears. She wishes more than anything that Chrissy could get out but she only has one more year before that could happen.
"Are you done? I'll take the tray's inside?" Tamia offers after a moment of silence, she noticed that Chrissy never fully ate she was just picking at her food as a mouse would do. "Yea, thanks." Chrissy gives Tamia her tray once Tamia stands up from the grass, Tamia gives her a half-smile as she reaches down and grabs Chrissy's hand to help her into a standing position. Chrissy flinches when the bell rings. "Perfect timing." Tamia ignores what she saw, now isn't the time to bring it up but she can once they're alone.
Chrissy gives Tamia a playful eye roll before walking towards the door, she opens it for Tamia who was carrying the two trays. "Call me?" Chrissy asks as Tamia is walking through the door. "Of course." And as soon as Tamia walks through the door Chrissy moves through the crowd so she can make it to her class on time, Tamia sighs as she dumps their leftover food in the trash before placing the trays on top. "You wanna go to our spot after school?" Tamia hears Eddie ask her as he's doing the same thing. "God yes, bring the good stuff." Tamia rubs her head as she thinks about smoking later today. "Now what kind of friend would I be if I didn't bring the good stuff?" Eddie teased as he kissed her cheek before pushing his way passed the people in the lunch room.
