I run which was the dumbest move. It's huge and it's chasing me what do I do? I just keep running looking for shelter. That's when it hit me, my only way was down.

He caught me in his arms it was a swift thing. I looked up at him. He held me at the waist. He smirked down at me as he helped me up. That was extremely hot! I calmed my nerves with an exhale. "Uhm I'm sorry." Roan's friends were hysterical as they laughed while Roan looked with worry. "Are you hurt?" He had so much pity in his eyes. "Yeah, I mean just a scrape but yeah-" He nodded. "Maybe I can get to know you better than just the girl who can't skateboard." My face was flushed after his comment. Was this a date? No way. "Sure." I smiled and bit my lip after seeing it in a movie. Did I look weird? He reached his hand out and wiped some dirt away from my upper cheek. I flushed heavily again. "Alright, I gotta go." My words mashed together as he laughed. I sped away quickly down the road. I reached the little gated community scanning my keycard. Denied. I swiped again. Denied. Again. Denied. Again. Hands appeared on my shoulders I grabbed my pepper spray that hung on my hello-kitty keychain. Trevor put his hands up and then laughed at me with a point. "What are you supposed to do with that?!" He was hysterical as he laughed. I was fueled with anger. "It's supposed to give instant pain in your eyeballs!" He snickered. He grabbed my arms and I shuttered at the touch. He stuck his arm around me sorta leaning on me to unlock the gate. He smelt mega good... He smirked. "Thanks," I said sarcastically. He pocketed his hands as we walked to our houses. He looked at me as we walked down the block. He examined my side profile. He looked back away. "Has anyone ever told you how small your nose is?" He laughed and walked off. And there it is. Why do guys do that? They are sweet then complete jerks. I cursed under my breath at him. I walked into pure chaos. Liam's friends ran around. Liam was 13 I thought by now he was a big boy and pretty calm. Well, I thought wrong. Liam laughed off as his friends ran around me. "What the h-" They speedily wrapped me in toilet paper. They ran off. I wasn't gonna chase them... "YOU KNOW THIS STUFF IS EXPENSIVE!" No responses but giggles. I sighed getting the toilet paper off me. I sat on the island a giant counter. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through some kids from the school's Instagram. A party invite in my DM box appeared. I pondered. Would Roan be there? I pondered for a little actually, my parents came through the door with groceries. They were so in love. It's crazy how a couple can stand to be together for twenty-five years. "Hey, Vivi." My dad said with a huge smile. I smiled back at him indulging in some fancy chocolates from my mom's work party. "So mom." I sighed. She looked at me with concern. "Do you think it could be okay if I went to a party a school friend is throwing?" her whole face lit up as she looked at my dad. She nodded super fast. "Do you need a new dress or something?!" She was overjoyed. "No, I have a few." I smiled and then went off to my room. Alright, I am going to look hot. I tried on a purple dress. No, yuck. I tried a snuggy floral one. I'm not in fifth grade. I tried on many until my floor was covered in clothes. I gulped I was nervous as I grabbed the last dress. It looked fairly plain a black dress not much design. When I tried it on it snugged me and fit all my curves. Is this too much? I was running out of time. I slipped on chunky heels. I put my hair half up half down. I rushed out of my room. My mom sat on the couch drinking wine and watching the bachelorette. She looked at me in awe. "Honey!" I flushed a bit embarrassed. "You look great." I smiled. "Be safe." And with that, I walked out the door. The party was down the block another trust fund kid... Noises and lights occurred when I walked in. I took everything in. I looked around. I had known these people all my life but never have I seen them this- how do I put it into words? Completely and utterly WAISTED. Roan was sitting on a couch with his buddies. He had hard eye contact on me as I passed. He got up after I went outside. "Hey." He startled me a bit. I jumped. "Sorry, Viv." Aww, my nickname. My heart melted. I sat cross-legged on a porch swing. He came over and joined me. He looked at me with no words. The music blasted outside. Party Rock Anthem began to play. "Oh my God, I love this song." I jumped up. He grabbed my hand as we sat up going back into the house. We danced. I let myself go. He had such an astonishing expression that I was letting myself go. Trevor eyed me from the bar with one of his little pets. I made no notice to it. The song shifted over to a slow one. I laughed. "Wow okay, I didn't expect that from a reserved good girl like you." My whole face flushed. He grabbed my waist swaying to the music. "I didn't think a skater boy knew how to dance." He shrugged. "My Abuela." I looked down at the floor and then up. I brought my voice level down to a whisper. "I've never danced with or kissed a boy." I looked away a bit. He nodded. He grabbed my shoulders. He inched closer to my face. My heart thumped, and I freaked out majorly. I pulled away. "I'm sorry." I went upstairs. I looked for an empty bedroom and then went into it. Nice one Vivian. A very drunk Trevor came in. "Hey, Viv." He slurred. "You look smokin'." He inched toward the bed towards me. "Trevor.." I shook my head." He giggled. "I saw you with that idiot you didn't even wanna kiss him." He was almost making zero sense with his words heavily slurred. I stood. "I really-" He grabbed my waist putting his hand on my jaw lining it with his finger. "Don't spray me with hello kitty." In a normal situation, I would laugh. I was scared. He noticed this. He hugged me. The alcohol stench wasn't terrible as his cologne took most of that away. He buried his face in my neck. He didn't kiss it he was just buried there like a squirrel. "Trev.." I sighed pulling him away. "Let's get you home." I put his arm around my shoulder. We went downstairs. It was fairly quiet for the number of people. Megan loudly announced, "now here we go ladies and gentlemen!" She was blocking the doorway. "Vivian and Trevor, wow would've never believed it." I was swelled by anger. "Megan you suck on a different guy every week shut up." 'OOOH'S' surrounded the room. I wasn't trying to slut-shame but she had it coming. "Little old sweet innocent Vivian can't do anything wrong!" Anger swelled again. Trevor looked at me not fully understanding as he was still latched on. "Oh but I have news for everyone, Ms. Vivian sees ghosts and hallucinations, literally so weird..!" Everyone went quiet I was heavily embarrassed. One of Megan's friends tried to get her away. "No! I'm speaking the truth Vivian is crazy and needs serious help. That's probably why she killed her sister!" My heart stopped. No one had known that but my parents. I went back to that day almost transported as ghastly wailing occurred. I screamed on the phone my eight-year-old body on top of my sister screaming crying. The 911 operator was muffled. Roan looked at me with so much sympathy. Hip leech couldn't comprehend anything. I got off the stairs. I slapped Megan so hard it echoed. She swore at me under her breath before slapping me the same. My temper lost it as I smashed her nose in with my fist I shook it off as everyone went wild. "Don't worry daddy will pay for a new one." The party was crazy as soon as I left some stood outside watching me walk away. I felt so good. Later that night I looked in the mirror. Guilt filled me again. I decided to fall asleep and suppress everything.
