Of course, Callum had no idea why he decided to come to the tower, maybe it was because King Harrow talked about the objects in the tower quite often, or how lord Viren talked about their perceived magical qualities, or perhaps it was a perfect place for his little brother, Prince Ezran, to be hiding.

He and Ezran had decided to play hide and seek around 10 minutes ago, so of course, Callum wouldn't find him so soon, but the tower just seemed like the best place.

It was high up, far from where they decided was the best place for Callum to count, and filled with items to hide in and behind. The perfect place Callum would say, but predictable.

He did find his little brother in here though, he was hiding behind a box Callum had looked in just before he found Ezran, finding the box containing  a mirror.

"Gotcha!" He shouted at the younger boy, scooping him up. He had managed to find the boy because of his glow toad, who glowed when Callum had opened the box.

"Nooo!" The little prince laughed as Callum tickled him "Stop it!" Callum listened and set the boy down, tired from the climb up the stairs to the tower, he had no idea how the young boy wasn't tired.

Ezran ran off into the outer hall, as the older did not have the energy to follow you boy. He went back to looking at the mirror.

It was a golden mirror, the frame swirling in different directions and runes he didn't know surrounding the reflective middle. It looked like an ordinary mirror, though the runes definitely made the prince think it was magic.

Snapping his gaze from the mirror, he covered the top of the box once more and went back to chasing his little brother, who had disappeared down the stairs.

'Oh god.' Callum thought, 'This is gonna be so painful' what Callum didn't see, was the mirror glow when he had closed the lid, shrouded in darkness, allowing the other side of the mirror to be revealed.
