The Friends you Needed

We have been out on the boat for a few hours. I had gotten really close with the boys in just a couple hours. I could tell they were going to be the best friends i always wanted. "Hey Cass, you wanna go to the chateau after we get back?" asked the brunette. "What's the chateau?" I asked confused. "Its our hangout AKA my house" he laughed smiling. "Oh sure, I'm excited" i replied happily. Kie smiled at me before she jumped off the boat.

"Y'all should jump in it feels amazing" she said with a smile. I jump right in excited about getting in the water. It had been so long since i got in the water, because I didn't have a boat and I never had time during the school year. Unlike, my family, I'm planning on going to collage but I want to come back to Kildare and live here in a nice ass house. I think all Pogues want to go full Kook, but for me it will give a different meaning to my name. Instead of when people hear my last name they think about how we are broke and I have a dad that abuses my mom, but after i get out of collage i could change that for the future of my family.

Everyone follows in after me. We sit on the boat for a while laughing talking having the time of our lives. I was still getting to know them but it felt like i had known the 2 boys for years. There was just an instant connection between us, especially between me and JJ. We go in and out of the water for almost 3 more hours.

The sun started to set so we headed back, we went straight to the chateau. It was nicer than my house which made me insecure, which I knew they wouldn't judge me, especially not for my house. That's why i loved being friends with Kie, even though she had it better than me she never mentioned anything about money or her house or rubbed anything in my face.

"So Cass what are your dreams?" John B asked me, kinda out of no where. "I have been working really hard in school. I want to go to collage, I'm not really sure what for yet but I want to go full kook and change the meaning of my last name when people hear it." I stated truthfully. I looked around realizing the boys had a confused stare. "My family's poor, it always has been since my great-great grandparents" I said realizing they didn't know what i meant. Kie was looking at me because she knew I didn't like talking about my dad and she knew I left it out on purpose. "Oh I'm sorry i didn't mean to make you sad" John B replied after me. I laughed because it didn't faze me, I was use to it. "It's OK John B, I'm use to it."

We stayed in silence for a few seconds and then JJ of course had to say something about smoking weed. I learned from only one day hanging out with him that he smoked. I did not mind it because I smoked sometimes when things got really bad at the house or I was just over and needed to feel something good. "JJ can I have a hit?" I asked looking at his hand with his pen in it. "I didn't know you smoked" he said handing me his pen, looking me directly in the eye and winking at me. Making me blush a little. I'm sure he noticed because he smiled at me.

A few hours later it ended up being just me and JJ outside still. It was probably around 1 a.m. and everyone else had gone inside to go to sleep. I was really enjoying our time together. We ended up sitting on the couch on the porch high as hell, just talking about random shit. I started getting tied so i leaned my head on his shoulder slowly dozing off to the sound of his breathing.

I woke up it was still dark outside or I guessed because I didn't see it coming in the window. I found my phone on the bedside table next to me wondering where I was and I looked at my phone it was 3 am and I was in someones bed room. I looked over once I felt something around my waist and I could tell who it was just from his smell and his sound of breathing. It gave me butterflies waking up next to him.

A/N

I'm not going with the story line directly i'm just kinda adding it in hear and there when i feel like its needed. Also i know nothing about weed so I don't know what i'm talking about when it comes to that. Well thanks for reading i hope you enjoyed and i will have the next part up ASAP its half done being written. I wrote this one at like 3am so sorry if its bad.
