{Backstory on your parents}

It was the last day of school for Susie, she was super excited for the summer. She had a bit of a reputation on the island of Kildare, which it was normal for the girls to because it was a place that a lot of nice looking guys came to vacation and the ladies, on the island, took advantage of that. Susie for one definitely was not a virgin. She had gotten with like three new guys each summer but she could care less about getting pregnant or people talking about her.

Her family was messed up. therefor her dad being physically abusive and her mom mentally abusive, a lot of people talked about her already. Many people didn't really understand her because they knew about her home life but she was always so happy around people. Her best friend was Anne Carrera. She had an on and off thing with Luke Maybank, everyone wanted a piece of him and he knew it and cheated on Susie many times but she kept coming back to him EVERY single time.

After the dismissal bell, for her last class, rang everyone ran out of the school. Susie was only 16 and she was a sophomore. She didn't care about her future and only was interested in boys at the time. Little did she know that was all about to change by the end of the summer.

She hesitated at her door before opening it scared that her parents were going to be home. She didn't see the one car, that barely ran, in the driveway so she was sure she was safe. She walked in dropped her stuff off on her bedroom floor and packed her bags for the summer like she always each summer.

She had a job during the school year but got fired after she didn't show up for a week. She had earned around $500 so she packed that and started packing her clothes. She always left all summer from her house and her parents did not care about her, so they enjoyed the house to themselves. She packed her toiletries in a separate bag she stole from her mom and left with as much food as she could fit in her bag.

After 2 weeks there was many people in Kildare, so the locals threw a huge bonfire on the beach. There she met Hardin. Of course she slept with him that night and every night after that for the whole summer.

It was the end of the summer and it was the day before Hardin had to leave and they spent the whole day together. Susie had fallen for him and it was the first man since Luke she had loved. Hardin on the other end was in love but not as much as her because he knew this was going to happen and it was just for fun, so he thought. They had one last night together and they spent it you could say umm... wi-... lets just say they had a lot of fun. They next day Susie woke up and she sat up when she realized Hardin was not next to her in bed anymore. So she flipped over and saw a paper bag. She was very confused so the sat up and opened it. She started to cry as she read the note.

"I will miss you like no other. You made this summer the best one I have had in a while. Next summer i will convince my parents to bring me back or i can come back by myself because i will be 19 and graduated. Anyways I will never forget you and you better never forget me. But i left you this ring it was one that i bought a few days after i met you because it reminded me of you. I Love You"

Susie burst out in tears with how heart broken she was and put on the ring.

{1 month later}

Susie flipped over the pregnancy test and it had a plus on it, she just laughed. She didn't really care because she knew that she wanted kids but she looked down and promised that she wouldn't be like her parents. She had Hardin's number and she knew it was his. So she called him and tried to calm down because by now she was starting to think about the money problem. Hardin was very surprised and pissed because he new he would have to marry her because of his parents so he flew back out and proposed and it has been history or well we might could say hell ever since then.

There marriage has been awful because they never loved each other and Hardin was abusive so she was trying to find a way out but couldn't. Anne was the only one that tried to help but could not do much since she was scared of Hardin. When Caspian was born Hardin got worse towards Susie but she was the best mother to her daughter, Caspian.
