Mission

Lucy: Can please go with you? Besides it's only an artifact transport, I'm sure nothing too bad with happen. And I am tied to you so it's not like you have a choice

Natsu: * sighs * fin

e but you have to do everything I say no doing things on your own this is a serious mission got it 

Lucy: I've got it. Will anybody else be on this mission or is it just us?

Natsu: just us I don't like working with others they just slow me down. I always worked alone but since I know how strong and - _- and stubborn you are I'm confident that you will be a good help on this mission. * finishes packing up his things* but before we go can you put some clothes on I know that we just had a morning bath but still  

Lucy: *holds her up in long ponytail* Geez, I will. Give me one sec I'll be right back * heads to her room*

Erza: * leans against their connected room doorway* Have fun but not to much fun ok. 

Lucy: Erza! 

Erza: * smiles innocently and waved goodbye before heading back to her room*

Natsu: ( Not like we can she still haven't answered my question from back then at the festival. I really shouldn't force her and just let things be after all who would want to be with someone like me) * leans against the wall while waiting for Lucy * 

Lucy: * heads down the stairs blue and white outfit with brown long boots* Sorry for making you wait long, but let's go! Wait we're we taking these artifacts too?

Natsu: we are taking them to the other side of the country to a place where they will be studied and kept safe

Lucy: Won't be needing to pass through the enchanted forest for that?

Natsu: no, we are going to fly and even like that it will take us a couple of days to get there. I don't want to go through that please it's hardly known and it's unpredictable.

* After a few hours of flying* 

Lucy: Natsu, I'm bored 

Natsu: and what do you expect me to do about it * flying with Lucy on his back * 

Lucy: How about we walk some of the way? Aren't you tired yet? We still have 2 days until we get there anyway.

Natsu: Well, it's going to get dark soon so we should make camp. * Finds a cleaner in the massive sea of trees and lands gently putting the wooden chest down from his claws on the ground* okay Lucy we are setting camp up here for the night I need you to get us some firewood while I set up the tent

Lucy: Hmm, ok I'll be right back. * Disappears into further into the forest*

Natsu: * sets up the camp for them for the night *  ( I don't understand it was I too pushy was it too soon. Damn stupid mating season now Lucy probably thinks I'm just after her for being cute) * sighs* ( I hate my life)  

Lucy: * hums away and until she hears something rustling in the forest. Not too long after, a loud howl was heard. Lucy turns around to run back to camp, but she trips on a branch that cuts away a part of her skin." *groans in pain* (Why does my body have to be so weak? Come on Lucy, you can do this.) *she stands up and uses a bit of healing magic on her leg before she grabs the fallen firewood and stumbles back to camp*

Natsu:  0.0 Lucy what's the big rush did something happen are you okay? * Pulls her back with his tail seeing she is shaking * hey did you get hurt or run into something in the woods?

Lucy: Don't worry I'm okay just tripped that all's. * takes a deep breath to stop herself from shaking*

Natsu: You sure if you saw something lurking out there. You need to let me know this place is dangerous 

Lucy: Yes, I'm sure all I heard some howling is all

Natsu: uh oh okay then * Natsu stands up and he creates a fire wall around their camp just to make sure that they don't get attacked during the night * just in case * sits back down next to her and gently puts his arm around her and his wing to keep her warm * it gets cold during the night 

Lucy: *blushes at their close contact* Right...look a shooting star! Let's make a wish 

Natsu: sure thing Lucy let's make a wish * he closed his eyes and made a wish * 

Lucy: We'll, it's getting late. I think it's time to go to bed. And with the flying you did today you deserve some rest. I'll take first watch in case something happens.

Natsu: no need that's why I put up this fire wall come on let's cuddle that way you can stay warm * gently holds her hand * come on let's get some rest you have been awake as long as I have you need to rest as well 

Lucy: * stands up and follows Natsu to their camping tent. She held her long hair into a ponytail.* Btw, what did you wish for, Natsu?

Natsu: I can't tell you otherwise it won't come true * he lay's down and opens his arms and wings inviting her to cuddle with him *

Lucy: *lays down next to him and looks up* If ever comes true will you ever tell me?

Natsu: maybe but you will have to tell me when you're wish also comes true * wraps his arms around her and his wings as well to keep her warm * goodnight Lucy
