Natsu: * uses his dragon tail to push himself faster in the water and goes under its jaw and punches it and sends the creature backward* take that

* The sea serpent angrily snarls and sticks out its sharp poisonous tail that if something comes in contact with becomes infected with well poison.*

Lucy: Natsu Stop! * swims and stops right between Natsu and the serpent interfering with their fight.* Don't harm him

Natsu: Lucy swim aside I will handle this thing

Lucy: It's not a thing she's a guard for the palace

Natsu: 0.0 a what now then why did it try to attack us

Lucy: -_- it's nightfall already and my father probably sent Coral to come to find me and she just thought you were an enemy * swims over to Coral and gently strokes her head*

Natsu: 0.0 oh I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions

* Coral stared at Natsu before swimming towards him and nuzzling her head onto him like a pet*

Lucy:* smiles at the sight of the dragon and sea serpent*

Natsu: I'm sorry for the misunderstanding Coral you were just following your instinct

* Coral purrs happily*

Lucy: I think she forgives you

Natsu: I'm glad I didn't want to hurt her * stops petting her and swims over to Lucy *

Lucy: It's fine anyway let's get going

Jude: *standing at the entrance * Lucy Heartfilia why are you returning so late I know I gave you permission to go around with the dragon friend of yours but you know that you can't be late

Lucy: I apologize father I promise I'll never do that again it's just we got a little sidetracked * gestures to Coral*

Jude: *swims over to Lucy and whisper into her ear * Lucy if you want to be with the dragon I'm fine with that but you have to make sure that you and he are compatible because I noticed how your tail hearts have been getting red ever since you met him

Jude: sweetie about that whole marriage thing and you need to be here on your birthday I talked it over your mother and we agreed that we should let you live your life as you wish and not force things on you that you don't want so if you want to know him better than we have nothing against it

Lucy: If that is so may please go with us to the Surface we both know the breathing seaweed won't last long and this way our people can finally open up to the world instead of hiding in the waters

Jude: * sighs* sweetie it's one thing to let you live your life as you choose but the surface is full of dangerous like he may be a good dragon but there are bad ones out there and I feel like you would be in danger up there is that really what you want to go up to the surface with him even knowing that it's dangerous * puts both hands on her shoulders * I know that I can't stop you but you need to answer me is this really what you want to do

Jude: alright then sweetie you can go then just please stay safe and come back soon or inform us that you are okay up there okay

Lucy: I will I promise * hugs her father*
