Aizawa POV

I yawned as I entered U.A., the top Hero Academy in Japan, and regrettably, the place where I worked as a teacher. It was times like this that I wondered why I became a teacher.

'Ugh, it's way too early for a staff meeting, not to mention that school hasn't even started yet. There should be no reason to hold a mandatory meeting at 7 a.m.'

'Nezu better have a very good reason for this.' I groaned as I arrived in front of the meeting room.

"This better be important". I say as I open the door.

"AIZAWAAaaa!" I activated my quirk and glared at Hizashi. "It's too early to be yelling Hizashi" I grumbled as I stepped inside the room. Despite being my best friend the voice hero was often way too loud for my liking.

I glance around the room, seeing that all the other staff are already here. I sit beside Nemuri and Mic sits on the other side of me.

"Well, now that everyone's here, I can discuss why I called you all here for this meeting!" Nezu starts the meeting sounding way too happy and energetic, considering the time.

Everyone looks over at them curious why they called this meeting. "First of all, Violet you can come in now!" I raise an eyebrow confused, I didn't see anyone outside when I came in.

The door opens and we all turn to see who it is. To my surprise, standing in the doorway was a teenage girl wearing a semi-formal dress.

'What is a child doing here? Is she the reason Nezu called us all in for a meeting?' I thought to myself, confused about her appearance. Looking around at the others it seems they are just as confused as I am.

"Everyone this is Violet Evergarden, she will be joining us this year as a first-year hero course student. For those wondering why she is already a confirmed student, it is because I recommended her to our school". Nezu states, bringing our attention back to them.

"You recommended a student?" I said slowly, very confused. Nezu has never taken much of an interest in individual students before let alone recommended one to the hero course.

'This girl must be someone very special if she managed to garner the attention of Nezu,' I think myself, looking back at the girl who is still standing straight by the door.

"Yes, I did!" Nezu starts again, "Would you like to introduce yourself Ms. Evergarden?" He says looking back towards the girl.

"Yes sir." I'm startled slightly by the sound of her voice as we all turn to look at her, why does she sound so monotone?

She curtsies as she begins to introduce herself, "I am Violet Evergarden. Auto Memories doll from the CH postal company in Leidenschaftlich, at your service." She stands back up looking at us with a blank stare.

I blink several times taking in what just happened, why is a child acting like this? Her voice was soft but strangely emotionless, almost like a doll. And she said something about being from the CH postal company in Leidenschaftlich. Does she already have a job?

And- wait, Leidenschaftlich?!

I turn back around to Nezu with wide eyes, "Did she say she was from Leidenschaftlich?!" I say surprised and concerned. I see the rest of the staff's eyes widen as I say this, I guess they hadn't released what she had said at first too.
