Violet POV

The next day.

I made sure to get up earlier than usual so I could pick up my prosthetics before anyone else was at school.

My guardian had offered to drive me to school today, I accepted, not wanting to have to deal with the stares from strangers.

"Please make sure to be more careful Violet, it really worry's me seeing you hurt like this."

Ms. Evergarden had been expressing her concerns while she drove me to school. It confused me, did she really care that much?

She was only my legal guardian, and it's not like I had much contact with her prior to moving to Japan.

Nonetheless I nod my head in response to her worry's.

She glances over at me for a moment before focusing on the road again, a frown on her face. She clearly wasn't very happy with my lack of response but she let it go, and we sat in silence the rest of the way there.

When we finally reach U.A, Ms. Evergarden gets out of the car and opens the passenger side door to let me out.

I bowed towards her after getting out, "Thank you for your help Ms. Evergarden, I appreciate it."

When I straighten up again I meet Ms. Evergarden's eyes for a moment. There was some kind of emotion in them, something like sadness?

I dismissed the thought and walked into U.A after saying goodbye to Ms.Evergarden.

The halls where easier to traverse since there where no students here yet, so I got to the nurse's office relatively quickly.

I stoped in from of the nurses office and called out, "Ms. Recovery Girl, it's Violet Evergarden, Im here to pick up my prosthetics"

I heard some shuffling on the other side of the door before the door opened revealing Recovery Girl.

"Ah Violet, come in!" She lead me inside and instructed me to sit on an empty bed so she could look at how my skin was doing.

I sat down on the nearest empty bed and waited for Recovery Girl to come back and look at my skin.

As I sat in silence I found my gaze wondering around the white room. It was very clean, unlike the medical tents that would be set up near the battle fields.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt someone's eyes on me.

I quickly stood and looked around the room for the person staring at me. A bright yellow in the corner catching my eye.

As I looked closer I realized it was a very frail looking man in a bright yellow suit. How had I not noticed him when I walked in? I must be more out of practice than I thought.

"What are your intentions, and who are you." My face remained blank as I went over the situation. It was before school was supposed to start so only staff should be in the building.

But I didn't see him in the staff meeting that Nezu brought me to before I started school. So that eliminates the possible of him being part of staff.
