Chapter 8

Flashback:

Soyeon drove through her colony areas. Coming back to her hometown after 5 years filled her heart with an unknown feeling. When she had left this town, she knew nothing about the outer world. She was just a mere young teenager but now she has transformed into a young mature adult with a lot of experience and life lessons. Yeah many more lessons and hurdles were on her way but handling her college days alone with no one on her side was a lot new experience for her.

As she passed the familiar streets of her colonies, she saw those shops she used to visit with almost same people on their same place. Nothing has changed much.

While driving, her phone rang. Connecting it to her earpods, she answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Yes mom, I am almost there. Are you ready to see your beautiful daughter?" She joked with her mom.

....

"Oh come on mom"

....

"Through the back door? why?"

....

"Okay"

Not able to understand, why her mom asked her to enter through back door, she just parked her car on the front of her house. Coming out of it, she made sure to lock her car, something which she has learnt in these years after loosing her car in the parking lot of a mall. She walked to the back area of her lawn only to recieve the most shocking scene of her life.

Standing in the middle of the garden with a bouquet in his hand and smiling widely. Wearing the same shirt he wore on their first date. You can say he was almost looking exactly the same he looked that day. It seemed as if he did not aged. Only his handsomeness increased and he became even more manly. His jawline became even more sharp. He had build some muscle as the shirt hugged his body to show off his muscles. Her family members, His family members and their friends standing at the back with a huge decoration in the whole lawn. Smiles lingering on their lips. And a huge banner saying 'Welcome back, Love'

Soyeon freezed. Tears brimmed her eyes seeing Jimin almost 5 years later. Everything came to a stop. She could hear nothing. She could not notice anything except the man infront of her. Jimin got worried as his forehead creased. He opened his mouth to ask something but got cut off as Soyeon ran towards him into his chest, taking him into bone breaking hug.

Jimin lost his balance. Honestly he would have fell down due to the force if it would not have been jungkook to support his back and bring back back to his feet. The bouquet fell down. Wrapping his hands around her slim waist, Jimin securely hug her back as the latter one sobbed silently on his chest. His eyes became wet after holding her after so many years. She surely changed into a breathtaking gorgeous woman. But her height still remained the same as she reached just a little above his shoulder.

Who said High school love is just a mere attraction and infatuation, here it is , a huge example to deny that myth. The two hearts which missed each other finally met. They might not speak but their actions were enough to tell each other about them.

Mr Kim let out an awkward cough to ease the feeling in the lawn and a whiny jungkook let out a groan "Enough of your dramas. Now cut the cake or else I might eat it like this" This brought both of the couple out of their trance as the reality struck them. The couple shyly smiled. However, Jimin just tightened his grip around Soyeon, as if he let loose his hands, she might slip again. He has already made up his mind:

He is not letting her go again.
