Sebastian struck her hard enough that she lost balance and fell down bringing Sebastian down with her.
Clary took this to her advantage, in a split second she had pulled back her arm clenching her fist, she threw it forward with a force, that knocked Jace backwards, when it connected. The dull thud and gasp of breath confirmed that she winded him.
Sebastian was now doubled over, the punch had caught him off guard and he cursed himself, Clary however was relentless she swung another punch toward Sebastian's head. Instinctively Sebastian blocked the punch and counted with an upwards cut to Clary,s neck. He connected and watched his opponent stagger backwards violently coughing.
Clary quickly recovered and grabbed Jace's legs, pushing him onto a glass table, that had a vase with dying flowers on top.
As Sebastian lay open the floor his face now bloodied and a single shard of glass producing from his check.
Clary fell through the doorway and out back into the hallway. Her head now pounding and the cuts to both her arms and fists were flowing freely with blood, but the adrenalin within her system kept her going.
