"Sebastian" she could barely breath as she looked up and saw the familiar outline in the doorway, at the top of the stairs. "I used demon incarnations on them" his voice smooth and refined as he slowly walked down the top step. "They won't come loose" slowing down more and more as he approached her.

"Where am I" she meant for her voice to sound strong but it came out weak and pathetic. "Home" he said simply. He started walking towards her again.

"No," she hissed "get away from me"

"Now, now is that the way you should treat your big brother" he lifted a piece of hair that had fallen onto her face.

"brother, BROTHER" Clary was shaking with such rage now that you could even see the chains ratter "you are nothing to me, you price of filth, let alone a brother..."

He struck her so hard across the face, that she saw stars for a few moments, too disoriented to realise that sebastian was no longer in her line of sight.

Clary notice a vague throbbing in her wrists, remembering earlier how she cut them on the cuffs, giving her an idea.

"Sebastian" she weakly said

Thinking if she was ever going to escape-and she would escape. Clary would have to get her brother to trust her.
