Before I even reached where my friends were standing Julie ran up to me and gave me the biggest bear hug I had ever received ,I think she may have broken a couple of bones. When she finally released me from her deadly grip and took a step back I saw the creepiest smile I had ever seen across her face and I knew I was in trouble.
"What?"I asked worried
"OK, act totally normal just don't react when I tell you this. Ok?"
"Fine, just tell me."I asked a little irritated.
"I overheard Ben and Ashton talking about girls they like and I heard Ashton say he had feelings for you for quite awhile now!!!! "she said in a very loud whisper
I stood there frozen for a while. Oh my fucking god. I had the biggest crush on Ashton since we first met in the 6th grade ,but I never said anything out of fear of rejection and ruining a perfectly good friendship.
"When did you hear this? Are you lying?Oh my fucking god I need more info.... I think I'm gonna throw up "I had a million and one questions to ask ,but I knew she didn't have all the answers.
"I'm not lying I literally heard them talking about it like four minutes ago. Now lets go they're gonna think somethings up."she said it very seriously which scared me

I tried convincing myself I didn't care and in all honesty it didn't work not even a little . Ben reached over and gave me a sideways hug while Ashton just nodded his head at me to say 'what's up'.
The school bell rang. I had first period with Ashton in room 243 on the second floor while Julie and Ben had their first class in room 143 on the first floor so we said our see-you-laters and parted ways.I started walking towards the stairs and Ashton followed right by my side, we didn't say a word until we entered the room.
"Goodmorning Mrs.Slade "both Ashton and I said it in union
"Goodmorning ,take your seats and try not to make so much noise I still need to grade the tests from Friday"she said in annoyed voice
Ashton and I took seats in the back of the class. There was only about twelve other students in the classroom so it was pretty quiet. I could feel Ashton gaze burning a hole right through my face and when I met his gaze I completely regretted it. His blue eyes were absolutely gorgeous and his perfectly shapes lips were smirking at me ,I felt myself immediately blush and I know he noticed because he raised an eyebrow and his smirk grew into a full on smile.
"You blush allot ,you know that?"
"Whatever, so are you still gonna come over after school? "I asked trying to change the subject
"yeah of course, don't I always "he said in a matter of fact tone
"true, hey liste-"I was cut off by the speakers telling everyone to evaluate and report in the front of the school for a mandatory H.B.M checking, me and Ashton looked at each other dumbfounded.
What in the world was H.B.M?
The teacher looked a little confused as well but quickly composed herself and motioned her hands towards the doors and with that everyone stood up and we all started walking outside the doors. Headed towards the front entrance I could see Julie and Ben in the distance.
"What do you think H.B.M means? "I asked Ashton with complete curiosity
"I'm completely clueless ,maybe it's a infection going around? "
"probably " I said agreeing
I got shoved hard by some students and was pushed right into Ashton's arms.He pulled me closer into his arms and let the class pass before releasing me.I could feel the butterflies in my stomach and I knew my face looked exactly like a tomato right now I loved being this close to Ashton but it didn't last long, we had to keep on moving outside the campus where there was several tables set up and in the middle was a middle aged man with a bullhorn dressed in a black suit.
How did this get set up so fast.... oh durr they probably had a seto-maka button
A seto-maka button is extremely expensive so my guess was that these people probably came from a pretty wealthy organization. A seto-maka button is a small button you put on the ground and when you smash it tables or tents (it depends on what kind of button you buy) suddenly appear its used with micro adams that depart to make the shape of tables or tents in this case tables and turn solid so you won't fall right through when you try and sit on a chair like you would with a hologram. My attention quickly turned to the man in the middle of all the tables when he tapped his fingers on the bullhorn to make three loud thuds.
"My name is Agent Getty "The man in the middle said
"My team and I are here today to take blood samples to see if any of you have H.B.M. H.B.M is just a common flu but you will be sent home immediately if you do have it, but it's honestly nothing to worry about "
Bull shit, if it was nothing to worry about why would these guys be here... Something's not right here
"My colleges will be waiting for you on the ends of the table, it will only take a matter of seconds. Now please form single lines on any table ,thank you that will be all. "and with that the man went in side a black limousine.
"This is total bull shit, if it was really nothing they wouldn't be here"Ashton said
"My thoughts exactly, let's just get this over with I have a bad feeling about this"
After that we headed towards the nearest line it really was quick the line only took a couple seconds and then moved forward, so far no one had this H.B.M .Once me and Ashton and I reached the front of the line he asked me if I wanted to go first.I nodded and took a step forward.
" State your full name age and grade" The young man said, he couldn't have been more that thirty. He had dark blond hair and wore the same suit all these other agents were warring, I couldn't see his eyes though he had shades to cover them.
"Icelet Oceiana Blake ,I'm in tenth grade and I'm 16" I replied as he wrote down what I said on a tablet
"Take a seat and give me your index finger this will only take a second"he said it as if he had said it a million times before which he probably had
He held up some kind of scanner with a point at the end which I'm guessing was going to puncture my index finger. I gave him my index finger and closed my eyes.
I hope it doesn't hurt.... I still cry when I get shots
When I felt a slight pinch on my finger and heard a beep I automatically opened my eyes .I was shocked to see the man's mouth opened wide and his eyes as wide as he read what ever was on the scanner. It only took him a couple of second to compose himself ,he immediately grabbed his watch communicator and call for back up.
In seconds half of the men in suits had raced around me to form a circle, each holding up a different kind of gun at me I could see a man holding up a L85(SA80) at me in the distance and all had thier fingers on their triggers ready to shoot me.
