Chapter 9 - Leaving

It's the end of school, and I'm going into university.

I can't lie, I'm genuinely excited, but what's sad is I have to leave charlie behind.

I'm moving all the way to America to go to this university, so it's quite far from England.

I will miss him, but I need to go to become a doctor.

He knows this, he's already said that he supports me on this and is willing to do a long distance relationship with me, I hope it works out.

Yeah I do get the odd, "oh you do realize long distance relationships never actually work out, right?" every now and then but I'm willing to make it work.

I'm sad to have to leave him behind but he doesn't want to go to university, and I support his choices.

"Hey babe, don't you think you should shop for clothes and stuff for uni?" Charlie said, looking up from his phone.

"Well yeah, but I wanna spend some time with you." I said.

"Go on, go out with your mates for a few hours, get some clothes and some stuff for your room and get a drink or food or whatever." He said.

"Fine, but we gotta do something together at some point." I said, kissing his cheek.

"We will, I promise." He said.

I did go out for a couple hours, I got a few clothes and a couple of plants, posters etc.

I decided to go home early to spend the evening with Charlie.

"Charliee! I'm home early!" I said, bursting through the bedroom door.

I did not expect to see what I just saw.

"Bailey!! It's not what it looks like I swear!" Charlie said, trying to hide the girl laying next to him.

"Who.. is that.." I said, fighting back tears.

"It's nobody! I swear on my life I'd never cheat on you!" He said, standing up.

"Yeah right! You think I believe you after I just saw you cuddling this girl in your bed?! You know what, screw you, were done!" I said, slamming the door.

I thought he was.. different.. I trusted him with so much.

I sat on the floor, curled into a ball, crying on the floor, in absolute tears.

"Hey.. Bailey is it?" The girl had walked out.

"Yeah.. it's Bailey.." I said, wiping my tears and grabbing a suitcase from the cupboard.

"Listen, he told me he was single. I'm so sorry, I've just left him. I heard your going to America? So am I, wanna come early with me?" The girl said, helping me pack my things.

"Yeah.. yeah! That'll be nice! I never caught your name by the way." I said, gazing into her eyes.

"Oh, it's Rileigh." She said, smiling.

Wow, she's absolutely gorgeous..

So pretty, and her hair.. is so pretty.. wait what? What am I thinking?
