I walk into the police station and head to my office. When I walked in, I saw Azora sitting in a black chair. I walked over to my seat and sat down.
"Hello, Vivienne," she smiled.
"Hello, Azora," I smiled back.
"I would like to say that I'm sorry for being a bit rude the other day," she looked at the ground.
"No, it's okay! I completely understand," I say while I write my phone number on a piece of paper.
"Are you sure? I feel bad about it," she said, looking me in the eye.
"Yes, I'm completely sure. Here's my number by the way. We could meet at the restaurant a few blocks away from here after work, and get to know each other better!" I say excitedly.
"Uhm. Sure. Here's my number so you know who's texting you," she says writing down her number.
She handed me the number, said, "See you later," and left. I put the number in my phone case, so I wouldn't lose it. I got started on work and wrote down a lot of notes.
At 3:30pm, nine hours later, I got off work and made sure that Azora and I were still meeting at the restaurant a few blocks away. Then I went back to my office, cleaned and packed up my stuff, and went to the restaurant. When I got there, I parked next to Azora and we walked in. The waiter sat us down at a red booth with brown tables, took our orders, and left.
"So, how was your day at work today?" I say smiling.
"It was good, thanks! how about your day?" she smiled.
"It was good!" I sip my drink.
"That's good. Uhm. What's your favorite color?" she looked at me.
"Light blue." What about yours?" I say happily.
"Light brown," she smiled.
A few minutes later, the waiter came and gave us our food. We ate and asked each other questions. About 30 minutes later, we decided to leave. I payed for her dinner and tipped the waiter then we both went to our cars and left. When I got home, I got a glass of water, and went upstairs. I went to the bathroom, took off my makeup, and brushed my teeth. I walked over to my bedroom, got my pajamas on, and laid in bed. I started texting Walker, but after 30 minutes I said I was going to sleep. Before I actually fell asleep, I thought about how tomorrow was going to go.
