Chapter Four

Chapter 4
I walked into the office, and grabbed a small cup of coffee. I walked over to Azora's office and knocked on the door. She opened the door with a smile and let me in. I sat down in a white, comfy chair.

"Hey!" I said with a smile.

"Good morning!" She smiled as her phone rang. She looked at her phone and said, "Oh, do you mind if I take this? You can have a mint," She laughed.

"Of course, and thank you!" I laughed.

She walked out of the room, and grabbed a mint on the way out. I grabbed a mint and popped it in my mouth. I could faintly hear her soft voice from behind the door. She sounded really happy when she was talking, and I wanted to know what she was talking about so badly. She walked back in with a huge smile on her face.

"I'm so sorry about that," she sat down.

"It's okay! I was wondering thought, when are we going to talk about this case?" I looked at her.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. My- Mr. Lynn.. said that we don't have to do the case anymore. He told me that he thinks we'd be good friends, so he made the case up," she looked down, "Sorry, if you were really excited about the case," she looked back up.

"Oh, really? Well, that makes sense why he couldn't tell me what it was. Do you think we could still hang out though?" I looked at her again.

"Yes, of course we could!" She smiled.

"Okay, great!" I smiled, "I have a question though, and sorry for being nosy when I say this, but what made you so happy? On the phone earlier," I said.

"Oh! It's okay, I'm nosy too," she laughed. "Well, I have a boyfriend, and we're going on a date later!" She smiled.

"Oh, well I hope you have fun!" I smiled. "I'm going to go to Mr. Lynn's office, and talk about the "case". I stood up, and walked to the door.

"Oh okay, bye!" She smiled, and I walked out, shutting the door behind me.

I walked over to Mr. Lynn's office and knocked on the door. He told me I could come in, and so I did. We talked about the case for about thirty minutes, and then I went to my office to work on files for the rest of the day. When the day was over, I jumped in my car, and drove away. I got home and ate some dinner then got ready for bed. I laid in bed and texted my boyfriend until 9:00pm then fell asleep.
