I woke up to my alarm thinking about my mom deciding to get remarried. we were supposed to stay in Minnesota where I had my friends and most family, but she decided to move out here to dry ass Los-angeles for a ma- "WAKE UP MA, FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL TODAY" she says all cheery like it's her going
"yeah mom I know" I fell back on my pillow going back to sleep "sage get up right now ode" she says walking out shutting the door behind her and I roll my eyes getting up not wanting to risk what would happen if I didn't . I decide to put on a green crop top with cargos and balenciagas with a jacket on just in case I get dress coded

as I walk down the stairs I pass my sister and stepsister who for some reason doesn't like me, but personally I couldn't give less of a fuck for her "look at the little whore that came down the stairs"
"not too much on sage though" kahiriah said "shut the fuck up trin, nobody got time for your petty ass games today" I reply walking to grab breakfast "someone woke up on the wrong side of their dirty ass bed today"

I question louder about to jump over the table while kahiriah starts chanting fight, fight, fight.
"both of you guys need to stop and go to school and kahiriah mind your business " Mom joined in before it got heated Gabriel agreed as me and Kahiriah walked out the door slamming it.
when we got to the school it was huge, way bigger then our old school at least. when we got out the car kahiriah went with some other girl showing her around while I stayed back "you must be sage" I heard just as I was walking into the building "yup" I reply popping the p "and you are" I asked "sorry i'm Amera, i'm here to show you around" she said smiling, she's very pretty I thought "oh ok, I need to check in with the office first for my schedule"
"yeah that's fine i'll wait out here" she says turning around walking to the bench in the hallway. I walk in to the office and ask ms brown I think her name was for my schedule which she gives me happily, but as I walk out I walk straight into someones chest not looking where I was going.
"watch where your going" he said in a rude tone "bitch if your paying attention to where your walking you can avoid me, the fuck" I looked up at him, damn he's tall and fine as fuck "I don't have time look down to see someone who looks like you" I know good and well this bitch ass nigga did not just call me ugly
"is it cause i'm black?" I asked him raising my eyebrow and his cheeks turn red "NO, of course not, i'm not racist" and I just turned to walk out "can I get your number?" he shouted to me "thought I wasn't good enough to look at" I chuckle "I was joking, so gimme the number " he asked "do you think you can just get what you want
finding Amera who's with another person "so i saw you talking to Luke Dubois" Amera said winking "well more like I bumped into him and he was acting like an ass towards me" I reply "he's not really an ass, as much at least you just gotta get to know him. but btw this is Aaliyah" She said pointing at the girl next to her "nice to meet you Aaliyah I'm sage" I say smiling "nice to meet you too" she replied returning the smile
"so that's charleston high, any questions or need help on where to go?" Aaliyah asked me "no, wait actually where's Mrs. jackson's room" I ask "oh she's in room 320 we'll show you" Amera told me and kept walking "hurry up i'm tryna show you" she said rolling her eyes "girl i'm coming"
