Jungkook pov

It took considerable effort to separate himself from Jimin, but since he didn't want their first time in an elevator and the cameras recording it, he figured it was best they change locations.

"Come on," he said, taking Jimin's hand in his and smiling at the fact he was allowed to do so.

"Let's talk."

"And kiss?" Jimin asked, his eyes that met Jungkook's hopeful.

He couldn't help the grin on his face as he looked at Jimin, his eyes wide, his kiss bruised lips.

"And kiss," jungkook repeated.

The smile never leaving his face, the lightness in his limbs making him feel like he could fly.

That was how much joy he felt.

When he'd left his office early, he hadn't expected any of this, yeah he wanted to get eyes on Jimin, because he'd felt like something was wrong.

He wasn't sure what it was, maybe he was tuned in to Jimin somehow, he'd always thought it uncanny how in tune his parents were.

Or maybe it was just him being a worrywart. He wasn't sure.

But he'd known that he needed to see Jimin. And he was fuckin' glad he listened to his instincts.

He knew that a man capable of stealing from an omega carrying his child, and leaving him to fend for himself was capable of much worse.

He'd known that Jiwoo would crawl out of whatever hole he'd disappeared into.

He was even more certain that he would do so after the back ground check he ordered on Jiwoo came back.

The walked to the sofa in the living room hand in hand and sat.

"Okay, so can we do the talking part so we can get back to the kissing? I like the kissing," Jimin pouted playfully.

He was loving this side of Jimin, he'd seen glimpses of it when ever Jimin was on the phone with his papa, and they laughed and joked about things that some times went over his head.

He'd been a little jealous of the rapport Jimin seemed to have found with his papa.

but since then, his dad had sounded upbeat and happy every time they'd spoken.

which hadn't been much since it looked like he had been replaced in his papa's life by Jimin.

But every time he'd spoken to his papa, he'd sung Jimin's praises.

He was excited for the baby, happy that Jungkook had found someone as wonderful as Jimin.

His papa's words.

Jimin had done exactly what he hoped he would do.

The best part was, it wasn't contrived.

He could tell that Jimin truly enjoyed every conversation he'd had with his papa.

He could see that two of them seemed to be getting something out of the relationship.

But as happy as he'd been, a part of him had been envious.

Envious at the relationship forming.

He'd decided to give Jimin time to get over his last alpha, even if he hated calling someone else Jimin's alpha.

So with that in mind he'd kept his distance, biding his time.

When it had gotten more difficult spending time with Jimin without kissing him, touching him, he had gone back to his workaholic ways spending more time in the office not that it had done him much good.

He could freely admit Jimin was never far from his thoughts.

And times when he couldn't help himself, he would send Jimin a message under the guise of wanting to speak to him.

"I know you're probably upset with me about going behind your back and digging into your life, but I was just trying to protect you," he began, wanting to get that out of the way immediately.

Jimin's brow crinkled, and he asked in a baffled tone, "When did you dig into my life?"

He looked down where their hands were connected then lifted their joined hands to his.

"I had Jiwoo looked into."

Jimin gave him a lopsided grin, "It didn't even occur to me to be mad. I was surprised for sure, but I wasn't mad."

It was Jimin's turn to look at their joined hands, not meeting Jungkook's eyes. "It means you care," Jimin whispered.

He lifted Jimin's face to meet his, "I do. More than I can say."

Just saying those words out loud, a weight was lifted.

"I didn't know," Jimin admitted.

"I thought you were avoiding me. I thought you were sick of me."

The look in his omega's eyes had He wanting to smack himself.

His choices had made Jimin feel insecure.

"No, never, just the opposite. I couldn't sit in the same room as you without wanting to touch you, and kiss you. And tell you how much I enjoyed sharing breakfast with you and coming home and finding you here, wrapped up in a blanket waiting for me."

He breathed in, "Do you know how many times I came in wanting to say, 'honey, I'm home,' and kiss you, just because? I ached with it. So I decided to stay away."

"You can kiss me now," Jimin whispered.

He sucked in a quick breath, a little amazed that this was happening, "I can."

He took Jimin's lips again in a quick kiss, like the ones he wanted all those nights, just because.

He loved how Jimin melted into the kiss, his body melding into Jungkook's like it had been doing so forever, not just a day.

He broke the kiss, even though it wasn't what he wanted to do.

"Jiwoo isn't going to go away. His type doesn't. But I'll handle it. I refuse to let him cause you anymore distress or pain."

"My knight in Saville Row," Jimin teased before sighing.

"I hate that he gets anything more from me, from you."

"Me too, but you and the amazing gift of our child and I swear to you that's what he or she will be ours. Both of you are mine to protect. And what's the point of being obscenely wealthy if I can't protect my family?"

"I don't deserve you," Jimin sniffed, using his free hand to wipe the tears he couldn't stop from rolling down.

"Never say that, you're more than I deserve, but I swear I will do my best to make sure you know how precious you are."

"I'm going to be all red-eyed and puffy and then you won't want to kiss me," Jimin said, his voice choked.

"The day I stop wanting to kiss you, is the day that they put me in the ground because that means there will be no breath left in this body."

Jimin practically lunged at him, but he caught him easily and the kiss that followed, his omega's body lined up to his on a flat surface, had him hard enough to pound nails.

"Bed, now, please. I need to," Jimin flushed such a bright red he would have burst out laughing if the thought of Jimin and bed wasn't already playing out in his mind in vivid detail.

"I want to be yours, I want to feel like I belong to you," Jimin whispered, the words all the hotter for the fact that his omega's gaze never left his and what he saw in them both humbled him and set his body aflame with need.

Jungkook made sure he had a good hold on Jimin, and stood with him in his arms.

"I need to be inside you now. I need to know this is real and you're finally mine."

The frantic nod he got from Jimin was enough to get him moving.

His omega. His finally!
