"PLEASE DONT HURT ME"

I look over to a terrified Johanna and Sweeney trying to calm her down obviously not working.
"Ok Sweeney you go over there and clean yourself up your covered in blood" I say pointing at his desk
"bu-"
"Sweeney just go"

I watch him walk over there and I go up to Johanna she's shaking, poor girl.

"Dearie, it's gonna be ok 'es not gonna hurt you, I can promise that. I know 'im well enough 'e wouldn't hurt 'is daughter" I put my hand out to help pull her up.
"What do you mean his daughter?!" She backed herself up against the wall

"Darling, that's your father"
"That's not possible, my father died years ago that's why I was left with Turpin"

I'm always the one having to explain everything.

"No Johanna, when you were little Turpin sent Sweeney away. 'e was supposed to spent the rest of 'is life in prison in Australia but 'e came back, 'e came back for you. the last of 'is family and, 'e was gonna whatever 'e had to to get you back."
"Your l-lying! You just w-want me to s-stay here so h-he can kill me!"
"I have no reason to lie to you, 'e is your father whether you believe it or not" I grab her and bring her to the door
"It's all so hard believe though, all my life i thought my father was dead"
"I get that's probably a lot to take in, follow me I'll give you a room to sleep in for the night"

All she did was nod, I brought her to one of the guest rooms I asked Toby to fix up.

"Is this ok for you dear?"
"Yes thank you ma'am"

I give her a smile before going to the parlour as I sit down on the couch I hear Sweeney calling me "I'm in the parlour!" he walks in
"where's Joanna?!"
"I set 'er up in a guest room, calm down sit, come on sit"
I pat seat next to me, and he sits down putting his head in his hands.

"Tonights been so stressful"
"Indeed it has, but you have Johanna now. You got your daughter, you have what you wanted"
"I wanted a family"
"Well we're all kinda like a family? It may not be perfect but we're all here together"
He doesn't say anything just sighs and leans back.
"Mr.Todd can I ask ya something"
"What is it"
" whenever you came back why'd you eat my pies, you saw how gross they looked"
"It was hard to believe, I remember you being one of the best bakers of Fleet Street"
"Was i Really"
"Yea you were the best bakers, seems like in those 15 years your baking went to shit" i didn't hesitate i slapped the back of his head
"HEY!"
"Sweeney hush the kids are trying to sleep!"
"I'd like to sleep"
"Who's fault is it that your not"
"The fact Anthony hasn't come back yet"
"I'll deal with 'im" I sat there just watching the fire after that, I don't even know how long, then I heard footsteps above my head someone's in Sweeneys shop. he didn't lock his shop up. I look over at him though and see he's asleep so I'll have to go up there myself I get up and as I grab my key off the counter in the shop Anthony comes running down from upstairs

"Where's Johanna?!"
"Calm down we gave 'er a room shes already asleep, it's late you should sleep to"
"That's a good point ma'am but I have to get Johanna out of here before Turpin or the beadle find her"
"Anthony they already left town looking for you both, me and mr.Todd gave them a tip you both were on your way to Italy"
"I suppose that gives us more time thank you ma'am, do you have a room I could sleep in?"
"Follow me"
I lead him to the room
"Here ya are, have a good night"

I leave and grab the key for Sweeneys shop I lock it up as well as lock mine up, on my way back to the living room I grab a blanket for Sweeney. I lay the blanket over him and sit beside him falling asleep.

Johanna's pov

In the same night, I ran away from bedlam, watched the man who sent me there die, supposedly by the hands of my real father, and now I'm staying in one of his neighbors rooms. What if  me being his daughter was just a story to get me to stay so they could kill me. what will they do to poor Anthony. I definitely have to get outta here tomorrow I don't  wanna die here.

I get snapped out of my thoughts hearing my door open I jump a bit shaken up I cover my eye but I hear I little boys voice, I look over at him.

"Oh I'm so sorry ma'am. I did not realize mum already put someone in this room, my names Toby I didn't mean to startle you" he put down what looks like a pile of clothes
"It's alright, tonight's been odd for me so I've been quite jumpy."
"I'm sorry about that miss, we'll this is a pile of clothes for you in the morning, mum makes breakfast at 7Am"

As he closes the door I decided to lay down and try to sleep a little

Sweeneys Pov

I wake up but I can't really move I look to see Nellie laying on me, great I'm gonna have to wake her up. What time even is it? Oh well I gently shake Nellie "wake up" all she does is grab onto me and mumble "cozy" I chuckle
"come on nell wake up"
"Wot, I was having a good dream"
"We gotta get up though"
"Not after last night we should sleep in"
"There's children to feed and take care of, and if your not getting up I am so off me"
"Why didn't you just push me off?"
"I could still do that"
"NO, fine I'll get up"
She gets up off me and leaves mostly likely going to the kitchen I head to the dining room and set up 5 plates assuming Anthony stayed this is gonna be an awkward breakfast for sure not like most haven't been

Mrs.Lovetts pov

As I finish making breakfast And pour myself a drink I hear scream oh god what happened I go running into the dining room carrying the food I set it down on the table I heard the scream here but I don't see anyone till I see Sweeney in the corner of the room standing on one of the tables
"Sweeny get off, and why did you scream?"
"I'm not getting down till you kill it"
"Kill it?- kill what?"
"THE SPIDER"
Before I say anything Johanna come out of no where and gets up on a chair "Where!?"
"Are you both scared of it?" I laugh a little
"Kill it!"
"I would if you showed me where it is Sweeney"
"Floor at the end of the table" he points at one of the legs and sure enough on the floor near it is a spider I pick it up
"I don't know your issues it's kinda cute it's tiny to"
"Kill it nell!" "Wot her name is nell?"
"Fine!
I clasp my hands together killing it
"Happy?"
"Yes" "no I wasn't answered"
"Her names Nellie"
And at that the other boys finally show up
"Anyway let's eat"  (because there's 5 people talking I'm gonna start using things like a: )
A: so why was there so many screams in here earlier
N: there was a spider and those two were terrified of it
S&J: Spiders are scary!
T: no more yelling, my head might fall off if one more person yells
S: i could Test that
I end up slapping the back of his head again
S: HEY!
N: you deserved it
A: so Johanna when do you wanna leave?
J: Aroun-
S: we were thinking you could stay with us
A: why exactly?
N&S:Johanna's my( 'is ) daughter
A: Johanna do you Wanna stay here?
