"Caellium! CAELLIUM!" Caellium felt someone shake her shoulders. She mumbled something, almost a whimper, begging not to be hurt again, did the warrior come back for more? This wasn't good . . . This was not a fair price for flowers damn it. Caellium opened her eyes, if she was going to be killed, she won't go down without a fight, even though it would only be a small one. Blinking to try and adjust her eyes she smiled weakly,
"Evelyn.... Smoke..." she whispered, her voice was raspy as she called out to the invisible souls. But standing above her was not a clan cat. Nor a small kit, above her was a dark blue cat, one she had seen often in the barn. "Artemis..." The tom above her sighed, with relief or doubt Caellium couldn't tell. She coughed, spitting out water, and a few grains of sand as well. Caellium groaned. Unsurprisingly, she had dropped her flowers in the river at some point. The blue cat above her went by the name Artemis and seemed to be relatively alright, every time he asked for help he always thanked her and never took the fact that she was a newbie for granted. He was undoubtedly one of Caellium's preferred cats to help. Coughing up another mouthful of water Caellium had finally adjusted her vision to be able to look the other rogue in the eye. Artemis started repetitively asking if I was okay, "S-shut up . . . " Caellium grumbled, "Your giving me a headache . . . " Not the whole truth but her head did feel sore, after a few minutes of lying down on her side, Caesium's breathing steadied and she got up on shake legs, her fur soaked and sticking to her bones. "Did you pull me out of the water?" Caellium asked with a slightly high pitched tone, "Well... Yeah," Artemis replied, he seemed embarrassed. The sun was setting, painting the sky and the clouds a mixture of orange, pink and yellow. Tainting Caellium's fur with golden rays, and his with a pink sheen. Caellium turned west, towards the sun, seeing the barn as a distant silhouette. Inhaling and exhaling steadily, she close her eyes, the wind cold but welcoming, drying herself off partially. She shook her fur, interrupting her silent moment, before stiffening when she heard a clan cats cry. "Is that a war cry or a help me cry?" she asked hesitantly, turning around. "Sounds like a war cry," Artemis said with a shake tone. "Lets go, before this happens again," Caellium said, dashing off, Artemis trailing behind.
When she arrived at the barn she looked around, every now and then a cat or two stared at her wet coat but not for long. She sighed, after getting up to the upper level of the barn. She walked around for a while, trying to wait for the water to drip off her pelt, but it took a while and she didn't have that kind of time, always impatient. She sighed to herself, before walking out of the barn. Caellium thought it was better if she got water all over the front of the barn rather than the inside. Cats had to sleep there y'know? After walking straight for only a few tail lengths, she noticed Artemis sitting on a familiar crate near the fence, gazing over Wind Clan territory. Caellium padded over to him with silent paws, her fur was dryer than before. She leaped up to the crates, sitting down next to her . . . Clan mate? She didn't really know, but that was alright. "Hey," Her voice was less raspy and sounded a lot better after she'd had a drink from a normal water source, he flinched, almost falling off the crate. Caellium chuckled, "Not much of a talker are you?" She asked slyly, her voice seemingly coated in honey. Artemis mumbled something before saying "No not really," with a slight chuckle. She giggled, "Well at least I dont fall into rivers!" he snapped with a playful tone. "I did not! I was attacked and pushed!" Caellium replied, adding a hmph noise. Artemis froze, he stared at her for a few seconds, "Cat got your tongue?" She asked with a cheeky grin. He shook his head rapidly, snapping himself out of his daydream. "Well . . . Are you alright?" Artemis gazed at the she, his eyes looking up and down. Caellium title back slightly, a light pink flickering across her nose. "I'm fine, really," She said after a few long moments. Artemis looked at her doubtfully and she chuckled again.
"Really?" he asked,
"Really."
