The Family Tree

Chapter Nine

Me and Martin wake up to William with a knife in his hand.

"What the hell!"  Martin yelled as he got up

Martin punched William in the face then started to get the knife when all of a sudden William stabbed Martin in the chest.

A painful yell came from Martin.

"Martin!" I yelled as I got up

William looked at me and smiled and walked out the room.

I went to check on Martin, he wasn't breathing!

I looked around and then I ran out of the room, I saw William walking out of the house, I ran so fast I made him fall over.

"What the shit!" William yelled looking at me run fast then I ever did before

I ran to my mom and dad's house, I knocked on their door and I heard a voice say "come in!"

It was my mother!

I ran in and shut the door.

"What the fuck! You can break that damn door!" My dad said as my mother looked into my eyes as tears started to form

"What's wrong baby?" My mom finally asked

"Martin is dead!" I yelled as a tear fell out

"What!" My mom and dad said

"Come and sit what happened?" Asked my mom

"William! Sheriff William!" I said with anger as I had tears running down my face

"Baby, calm down!" My mother cried out

"We can't understand you" my dad said as he touched my shoulder

We heard a knock upon the door I yelled "No! It might be him!" but they didn't listen to me

It was Martin!

"I thought you was dead!" I yelled as I looked at him with tears

"I feel like I am!" Martin said with a small giggle and also a laugh

"Are you okay!" My mother yelled as Martin held his chest and was wobbling towards me

"Yes, I will be" he said sitting on the floor beside me

"William is a crazy son of a bitch!" He added

"Hell right son!" My dad yelled as he got the cotton to put on the spot

"I want my momma..." Martin said looking at his blood with fear remembering what had happened and bleeding more and more

My dad and mom looked at each other.

"Who can run faster?" My dad said

"You go I'll keep care of him" my mom said taking the cotton as my dad ran out of the house

"I'm scared" Martin said with a tear about to fall
