Chapter 2 "The feeling"

Y/N's POV:
Me and Sal have been hanging out a lot even at my house my mom loves Sal but I've been getting this feeling whenever Sal's around I feel strange like air in my stomach but I can't tell him that, that would be insane! "Y/N?" "Huh?" "You alright?" I looked at him for a sec before nodding and smiling at him "Hey Sal why do you wear that mask?" I asked "It's a prosthetic.." he replied looking down "I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked" "No you deserved to know Y/N"
Sal's POV:
Y/N and I are really good friends now I'd say even best friends but I wish we were more but it's baby steps. I looked up at her smiling but she didn't know under my prosthetic but I didn't care seeing her smile meant the world to me and I can't let it go I can't wait to tell her about my feelings but I have to. Both me and Y/N we're at her place studying "Sal! Y/N! Dinner!" Mrs. M/N called from downstairs "Coming mom!" Y/N replied as she grabbed my hand and stood up that caught my attention she's holding my hand. I was blushing like crazy but I kept it cool and stood up and we walked downstairs to eat dinner.
Y/N's POV: 'OMG! I held Sal's hand! Ok ok ok I need to calm down' I thought to myself throughout dinner. After dinner was over Sal had to go home, His dad came to pick him up so after Sal went home I went to get ready for bed, and my mother went to bed already so I was by myself because my father died awhile ago when I was about 6 years old but I never knew him very well because he was always departed because he was in the military. But other than that it's been a long few years after that.
