'My mom had gotten a new boyfriend?! She always told me no one would come after dad, and she lied!' I kept thinking to myself as I barricaded the door with things trying to ignore their bickering over trying to explain to me. When I heard a familiar voice, it was Ginger my good shadow friend, I never knew what she was so that's what I call her "Y/N what's going on?" Ginger asked in her sweet loving voice "N-nothing Ginger I just need a minute" I said as I sat down on my bed "Talk to me" she said, "My mom got a new boyfriend" I replied shakily "It's ok she just wanted the best for you." "BEST FOR ME!?" I screamed Ginger flinched at my yelling" "Sorry...sorry" I said calming down "It's ok I'm just not used to being yelled at" Ginger said "I'm going to just call Sal" I said pulling my phone out and calling him "Hello?" Sal said "Hey Sal can I come over to your place?" I responded "Sure" he said with a smirk in his voice "ok be there in a little" I said grabbing my stuff and moving the stuff barricading my door as i pushed past my mom and her new boyfriend walking out the front door as my mother went to protest but stopped after I flipped her off.
