She stared at those standing in front of her. She didn't know whether to curse them or slap them. Maybe both but she suddenly felt her feelings simmer down and she knew exactly way.

"Jasper stop." She hissed looking at him.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Paul asked eyeing the family in front of him and Carlisle sighed.

"Mara c'mon we have some things to talk about." Rosalie said sadly and Mara nodded confusedly. She didn't know how to feel or what to even say. She followed behind her, Emmett, and Jasper cautiously leaving Paul outside with Esme and Carlisle.

"So? What are you doing here?" Paul asked and Carlisle sighed once more.

"There's some family matters we need to talk about so I think it's best you come another time-" Carlisle was saying but Paul cut him off.

"Bull shit! You wanna talk to her then you gotta do it with me there. I'm not letting you guys come back just to leave her again!" Paul shouted and Esme smiled sadly.

"We had our reasons." Esme said lightly and Paul scoffed.

"Thats my girlfriend in there with the people who abandoned her. How do you expect her to just let you guys waltz back into her life like nothing? Like nothing ever happened?" Paul spat and Rosalie came outside narrowing her eyes at him.

"What the hell are you doing around her Mutt?" Rosalie spat and Paul scoffed.

"You're one to talk Leech." He shot back and Carlisle sighed.

"Enough. We'll speak of this in a more civilized matter another time. Now please Paul go home." Carlisle said calmly and Paul just scoffed getting in his car and driving away.

Not because he wanted too.

What he wanted was to kill each one of them.

But he couldn't because Sam ordered him home.

Mara sat there with Jasper and Emmett confusedly. She watched as they both stood there nervously not knowing what to say or do. Finally Carlisle came inside and sighed when he saw her.

"Mara. There's something going on that we need to finally tell you about." Carlisle said and Mara nodded listening.

"This isn't going to be easy and you're probably going to hate us even more after this." Emmett said but you could hear the slightly ball in his throat.

"Whats going on?" She asked as Carlisle sat down.

"Alice had a vision that Bella died and Edward found out. H- He went to the Volturi so they would kill him but Alice and Bella got there just in time." He started hesitantly and she nodded confusedly.

"The Volturi are the people who've been after you since you were a little girl." Rosalie explained and Mara nodded.

"Aro one of The Kings has the ability to hear your thoughts and see everything you've ever hid in your mind or seen." Carlisle explained and Mara nodded furrowing her brows. "Aro saw you in both Alice and Edwards mind."

"He's coming after you Mara." Emmett said angrily and Mara nodded.

"So then what do you want me to do?" Mara asked defeatedly. She no longer had the strength to fight or argue anymore. She just wanted to be left alone.

"To get the Volturi to forget about you we have to fake your death." Rosalie stated and Mara nodded.

"Do whatever you want." She mumbled standing up and walking back to her room.

She was just barely starting to be happy.

She got the grades.

She got the boy.
