Months went by and Rosalie called every single day. At first she didn't answer, not because she didn't want too but because she physically couldn't. She felt tired all the time and she just closed herself off in the room she was given. Tanya and Kate would come in every now and then to see if she was okay but they knew she wasn't.

I mean hell she hasn't ate an entire meal she barely ever touches her food and they noticed how skinny it was making her. She slept most days and if she didn't then she'd lay awake thinking of him or having horrifying panic attacks.

Until Alice called.

For some reason she felt drawn to answer this time.

"Mara thank god." Alice said letting out a breath of relief.

"Whats going on?" She rasped and Alice let out a small sigh.

"Edward and Bella are getting married in two days and well the Denali's were coming so we hoped you'd want to come too." Alice suggested and Mara let out a small breath.

"Alice I can't or did you forget that I died." She mocked and she let out a small breath.

"Right sorry." She mumbled and Mara just bid a quick goodbye.

Looks like Bella got what she wanted. She's happy she's living her life. She's finally happy.

But What about me? What about me?

When will I get those things?!

Mara's mind launched her straight into that deep hole all over again. Before she knew it a month went by and this time Edward called.

For some reason she felt the need to answer so she did.

"Mara?" He asked and she hummed slightly. "I need some advice." He said and Mara cocked a brow as she ate a sandwich barely even realizing that she was finally eating a meal again.

"Whats wrong?" Mara asked knowing that every time Edward needed some advice he'd always come to her. Kind of like a brother sister thing I guess.

"Bella's pregnant and I don't know what to do. It's killing her and she won't let Carlisle take that Thing out of her." He said with so much Sadness. Not anger and she furrowed her brows.

"Hold on what do you mean she's pregnant? Thats not possible." She said confusedly thanking god that The Denali's were out getting a bite.

"I don't know but it's growing and it's growing fast and now I don't know how much longer I have left with her." He said worriedly and I sighed knowing exactly how he was feeling right now. "I don't think I can just stay here and watch her kill herself. I can't stay here and take care of it knowing it killed her. She's better off without me." He rambled and I sighed deeply.

"But you still have a daughter." I said and I could practically feel him shaking his head.

"She's better off without me." He said but you could hear the small ball in his throat. "I know what it's like to be raised by a monster." He argued and I scoffed shaking my head.

"Oh my god. Come on! That was like a 100 years ago! Really? Mean dad?" I argued shaking my head remembering the stories he'd tell me of his abusive father. "News Flash! The guy is dead! Get over it!" I said sternly.

"Bu-" Edward was saying but I cut him off.

"Stop using your father as an excuse to be a bad father!" I said pointedly and he let out a small breath slightly shocked by my words. "You may not be able to be in the same room as her but there's this ancient thing called trying. Try to atleast be there and do it before you loose not only Bella but your daughter and they loose you too." I sighed deeply taking a last bite of my sandwich.

"Thank you." He mumbled taking in what I said. I shook my head bidding a quick goodbye but before I could hang up the phone was snatched out of Edwards hands.

"Mara?" His voice asked shockingly and I almost choked on the water I took a sip of.

"I can explain-" Edward was saying but Jacob cut him off.

"No." Jacob said sharply. "Mara where the hell are you? I thought you were dead?" He asked and I let out a sigh.

"I had to fake my death in order to get away from some people that were after me." I mumbled and he let out a scoff.

"What the hell are you talking about?! You know- I can't believe I'm even saying this- you know Paul is actually-" He was saying but I cut him off.

"Now is not the fucking time Jacob. You heard what you needed too now either you hang up or I will." I hissed and he scoffed as Edward grabbed the phone hanging up.

Jacob stood there as everyone gathered around seeing as he discovered their secret.

"Are you actually kidding me right now?" Jacob asked baffled. "You know I don't even like Paul but taking his imprint away-" He was saying and Edward and Carlisle looked at each other.

"Imprint?" Carlisle questioned and Edward scoffed slightly in disbelief.

"No wonder. It all makes sense now." Edward stated and Rosalie cut him off.

"What are you guys talking about?" Rose asked and Edward shook his head.

"Paul imprinted on Mara. They're soul mates and when they stay away from each other for too long its like they're slowly killing themselves." Edward said shaking his head.

"I've seen Mara and she's in horrible shape. She's tiny and frail. You could almost see her bones in my visions." Alice said worriedly and Edward shook his head.

"Eleazar called saying he was worried for her mental and physical health but I thought he was just over exaggerating." Carlisle said confusedly.

"Yeah that's what happens when you separate a wolf from his imprint. Paul looks terrible. He barely even comes out of his room and he barely eats." Jacob sighed shaking his head. "I knew something wasn't right but Sam wouldn't believe me." He explained shaking his head. "Doesn't matter now they're the enemy." He sighed storming off.

"But if it's killing Mara then what are we supposed to do?" Emmett asked confusedly and They all shrugged.

"I have no clue." Esme said and Edward shook his head.

"Nothing. We do nothing because theres nothing that we can do. Mara's dying anyways I saw it in Alice's vision. If he already thinks she's dead then there's no point to tell him she's still alive if she's just going to die anyways." Edward sighed walking away making Rosalie scoff. Jacob heard from the other room as well and scoffed shaking his head.

Mara laid in her bed once more grabbing a book she had and smiled when she noticed the small notes.

"You bought a copy? I told you I would lend you mine." She smiled and he smirked slightly.

"It is yours." He said and I cocked a brow.

"You stole my book." I stated and he shrugged slightly.

"Nope. Borrowed it." He corrected and I let out a small laugh.

"Okay thats not called a trick thats called a felony." I smirked and he rolled his eyes playfully.

"I just wanted to put some notes in the margins for you." He added and I furrowed my brows slightly opening the book only to see actual notes written down.

"You've read this before?" I questioned and he hummed.

"About 40 times." He smiled and I cocked a brow.

"I thought you said you don't read much?" I questioned and he let out a small laugh.

"Well What is much?" He asked with a playful smiled and I let out a small laugh.

Some stray tears escaped from my eyes as I thought back to all the times I've spent with him. Unfortunately that sliver of hope I had left finally vanished.
