THE GRAND INQUISITOR
"All available Inquisitors, please report to the meeting room," the Grand Inquisitor said over the intercom. The meeting had been scheduled beforehand, but this was just standard protocol.
The Grand Inquisitor walked over to the meeting room himself, where most of the Inquisitorius was already waiting for him.
He waited another minute or two for the rest of them to enter the room.
He took note of who was present, until he was certain that every available Inquisitor was in the room. Notably absent was First Sister, who was already offworld on her own mission.
"Multiple opportunities have presented themselves to us," the Grand Inquisitor opened. "We have tracked down a young Jedi survivor, as well as several new... potential recruits."
"Oh, I'm interested!" Ninth Sister exclaimed.
A hologram on the table's center lit up, displaying what appeared to be a young man reaching out towards a falling Abednedo, slowing him down before they both fell onto a barge.
"This footage was sent to us from one of our probe droids on Bracca. We've known for some time now that a Jedi may have been on Bracca, but we now have confirmation. We don't know who he is, but we must move quickly before he disappears back into the shadows."
"Why can't the local garrison try to apprehend him when he least expects?" Fifth brother asked.
"A Jedi expects everything," the Grand Inquisitor replied. "And besides, Stormtroopers are no match for a Jedi."
"He has a point," the Mirialan Seventh Sister replied.
Fifth brother grunted.
"A former Padawan will be no match for a single Inquisitor... which is why we'll send two of them, to ensure his destruction. Second Sister, Ninth Sister, that job will fall to you. Once you have arrived on Bracca, you and your squadron of purge troopers will work to track him down. He was last sighted at these coordinates. You are to depart for Bracca immediately. "
He slid a datapad over to Second Sister, who then grabbed it and handed it to Ninth Sister.
Then, there was silence.
"I said immediately." The Grand Inquisitor clarified. "The details of the next mission do not concern you."
"Will do, Master," Second Sister replied.
She turned to Ninth Sister. "Let's move out," she ordered.
"Aw, but I wanted to know about the 'recruits' he was talking about!" Ninth Sister complained.
"I will inform you when you return," The Grand Inquisitor stated.
Ninth sister shrugged and murmured something under her breath, but she still got up and walked out with Second Sister anyways.
"Next, we have multiple promising reports coming from the Togruta homeworld of Shili," The Grand Inquisitor continued, displaying a holomap of the planet.
"Shili?" Asked Ninth Brother, a Pantoran. "Does this have anything to do with the tensions between the locals and the Empire."
"...In a way," the Grand Inquisitor replied. "First of all, we have a prime target for Project Harvester: Aro Yero, a young child of the royal family."
"The royal family!?" Fifth sister, a deep brown Zygerrian, protested. "This is a bold, bold move. By kidnapping a member of the royal family, we risk them turning against the Empire and rallying the populace to rebellion!"
