I was sat in my room contemplating on what to wear. This afternoon my parents decided to have a BBQ, for my brothers birthday.
The issue is they decided to invite everyone, including my soulmates. You see since u accepted them I've only hung out with Wanda and that was only once. Of course I had called them and messaged them but this was different. I had to actually face them.
I came out of my thoughts as Toni, my sister, walked in.
"Hey M just letting you know you have like 10 minutes until they arrive."
I nod and she walks out of my room. Leaving me alone once again. A few more minutes oss before I decide what to wear. I end up choosing a white crop top, black jeans and my favourite jacket. For shoes I went simple and picked my white air forces.

Finally ready I head down stairs and see all my family. In one corner of the room I saw Tori, Alison and my best friend Maya all talking. Smiling I walked over to them.
I greeted them and hugged each one as well as giving them a hello. We stayed in the corner for a few minutes talking about our days until we heard a knock at the door.
Instantly all our heads turned towards the door. My mother went to answer it.
"Good to see you guys come in!"
I saw 4 people walk in. Tony, Wanda, Peter and Pietro. As they saw me they each placed a smile on their faces and started walking towards me.
Doing the same we met in the middle of the room and I hugged each one.
"Hey." I breathed out still very nervous.
I started wondering where the others were but before I could ask Tony spoke,
"Hey, the others wanted to apologise they couldn't come. They got called in for a mission last minute."
Understanding I nodded and led them into the garden where the rest of my family and friends were.
Tony and Wanda went to help with the food and Pietro was messing around with my brother and Noah.
I was sat with Peter on the bench waiting for food to be done. We made small talk and I learnt a lot about him. I now know that he has an aunt and that his parents unfortunately died when he was young. He also learnt stuff about me and my family.
Looking around I was covered with people I love. My closest friends, my beloved family and some of my soulmates. One dream that I have when I am older is to have kids and give them a great family, just like I had growing up and one I still have.
