Sally changed into Ansons clothes in a heartbeat, feeling warmer with every second that passed. His smell was present on his clothes and it made her miss him even more. She folded up her wet clothes and put them on the radiator, heading to the door to find Anson.

It didn't take her long to get to the trailer park, but she remembered to borrow an umbrella from her dads office this time. She climbed the steps and knocked on the white door, admiring the big font they'd used for his name. He wasn't answering. Sally was confused, she'd been asked to come here so surely he'd be here? Knocking once more, she waited. And waited. And waited. Until she would wait no longer and headed back inside. Anson had stood her up.

She wasn't sure how to feel. I mean, they weren't exclusively anything. But on the other hand, they were something and something they could have been but he stood her up. Sally didn't take stuff like this easily, considering she had a hard time trusting people, it only made her trust for Anson dissapear.

She'd made it to the last row of trailers when a trailer door popped open, revealing the man himself and soon followed Sydney Chandler. He hadn't noticed her, but she for sure noticed him. Anson turned around and gave Sydney a hug, and a long one. Sally had seen enough. She continued to walk and walk past them. "Sally." Anson called out but there was no way she was going to stop. She wasn't an idiot, and she can't believe he took her for one. All the flirting and hugging probably meant nothing to him, he just wanted someone to have a laugh with and Sally would fall victim to his games. Or so she thought.

"Sally!" Anson continued to call, his footsteps echoing louder behind her. "Hey." He sighed and gently grabbed her wrist. Not today Anson, not today. She ripped it out of his grip and turned to glare at him. "Woah, Jonesy. What's wrong?" He asked full of concern and edged closer to the girl. Sally stepped back and shook her head. "Don't call me that. It's Sally." She spat out at him, she was angry beyond belief. He looked at her, trying to find an answer in her angry expression but he couldn't. "What have a done?" Anson asked in defeat, his lips turning downwards. Sallys heartstrings were tugging but she wasn't backing down. "You left me waiting at your trailer for nearly half an hour Anson! You invited me and stood me up. You knew. You knew how shit of a day i've had and just left me standing like an idiot,in the rain, again. And then you're coming out of another girls trailer smiling and shit, fuck that! I'm not a game Anson. Go flirt with her instead, im done." She had let everything out. Her jealousy. Her humiliation. Her sadness. It was lying underneath Ansons feet in a puddle and he could see his reflection, the thought of ever hurting Sally broke him inside.

"I am so unbelievably sorry that you were waiting for that amount of time. Nothing I say will make it better but please, i'm begging you, please let me explain." He pleaded with the girl, his emotions evident. Sally was still angry but decided it was only fair he got to talk, she nodded. Anson coughed awkwardly, a side to him she'd never witnessed before. "Look. I was trying to set something up in the trailer for you. I do know what a shit day you've had and I wanted to make it better Sally,I really did! I just wanted to make you happy." He looked so fragile and afraid, her heart was broken. "As I was about to order us food, my phone died and I'd left my charger on set in the studio. I went to get it and I bumped into Sydney. I told her my plan and she told me she had some stuff in her trailer I could have. I got distracted and I'm sorry. I was telling her how I feel about you and I got carried away. And I promise you Jonesy, you're not a game to me at all. At all. I do really like you, and I wanted to make your day better but I've made it worse." Anson was out of breath, he'd rambled just like Sally had a few minutes ago.

Sallys face dropped, how could she be so stupid. Anson wasn't playing her or trying to hurt her. He was here to stay and the sooner she realised, the better it would be for the both of them. She was at a loss for words, she felt ashamed. Leaning forward, Sally leaned into him and muttered the words "I'm so sorry" before letting a few tears slip. Anson sighed in relief, holding the girl as close as possible. He didn't want to lose her, she was too special and seeing her so fragile in his arms was a painful experience he never wanted to witness again. "It's okay, we're okay." He muttered into her head, holding her securely and his swayed them side to side. The rain was pouring again, but this time it was different. Sally felt protected. Not by the umbrella that had ended up on the floor during her rage.
