Hi there ;)

So we're just going to appreciate Eddie Munson beyond the actual like vecna plotline. We're just going to pretend that he's crackling people later :)

Enjoy~

"Can I level with you?" Eddie asked.

Mike and Dustin were both sat taut at their lunch table spots. Eddie had got up from his seat quickly, eyes steadily switching back and forth between Dustin and Mike. He was taking the long route of explaining exactly why their request to postpone this campaign's end was soon to be denied. There was slight fear in both Mike's and Dustin's eyes and by the way that theirs arms remained pressed up against each other, they were worried about what Eddie might say. Eddie strode forward around the table.

"Jeff graduates this year. Gareth's got, what? A year and a half?"

Both boys watched intently as Eddie made his way around the table.

"Me, I am army crawling my way toward a D in Ms. O'Donell's. If I don't blow her final, I will be walking that stage at graduation," Eddie stated, the boys smiling at him and nodding as if his statement was one to agree with. "I'm going to get a date with the girl of my dreams."

Eddie was always talking about that girl. Mike and Dustin were ignorant as to who it was, Eddie refused to tell anyone who it was that he was going after. Not even his closest band member Gareth knew. Dustin had suspected that it might be one of the cheerleaders, who in the majority didn't spare him a glance. It could be Chrissy Cunningham, she was pretty much on everybody's mind. Eddie continued with his list.

"And I'm going to finish out the greatest campaign of my high school career. So you can clearly see where I'm going with this, can't you boys?" Eddie leaned forwards, in between the heads of Mike and Dustin once he had reached them. Eddie frequently did this, went on tangent speeches like he was in a drama scene. He had just done it, walking across their lunch table and taunting Jason and the entire table full of basketball players. It was one of the things that made Eddie such a good dungeon master. He was great at storytelling and you could really tell he enjoyed the game.

The future of Hellfire along the horizon for Mike and Dustin, Dustin continued to ask one more time.

"So we can postpone?"

Neither dared to turn and look Eddie in the face. They knew Eddie wasn't scary, but he was close and intimidating sometimes. Maybe that was why he hadn't scored with the girl he liked. Eddie's smile fell and he grabbed both boys by one shoulder, pulling them up out of their seat.

"No, Sinclair isn't coming? Find a damn sub," he said, shoving them forward. Mike and Dustin stumbled, not looking back.

Mike swallowed and Dustin pressed his lips together tightly. Eddie wasn't being mean, it was clear that Eddie wasn't going to wait for anyone to finish out his campaign. Of course Lucas had to go to that damn finals game.

They were going to have to find a sub.

Of course, after scouring a school full of people who thought the game was either lame or a means of sacrificing someone to Satan, they both ended up sitting on a bench outside the school. People were heading to their own practices and clubs.

"Ste--"

"Asked," Dustin interrupted, "He very blatantly said no."

"What the hell are we supposed to do?" Mike asked, though it was rhetorical. They had run out of people. Each boy let out a sigh, knowing that they didn't have any ideas.

"Wait...what about the girl Eddie likes?"

"What about her?" Mike asked, having given up and accepted the fact Eddie was going to kill them, in the game and potentially in real life.
