Hi, this is not a winning request or anything, it's just something that I thought of and some people showed interest in!

For reference: Sunny goes by He/they and Moon goes by He/they (emphasis on him when I'm talking about them separately), but when they're acting as a collective or when you address them both, they prefer they/them because they are one person but still separate.

You usually like to talk to both since they share a collective mind.

(e.g. Sun is happy, he likes glitter glue. They walked over towards the ball pit. Moon is...)

In this you don't know Moon is there so Sun's actions will be singular and his when it is more your perspective. When it is both I tried to make them act together but feel different things.

Enjoy~

3rd Person's POV

"Alright Sunny, your new coworker is starting today," a maintenance worker stated. "Be mindful of them, they'll be taking care of the nursery babies."

Sunny knew the maintenance worker was more so talking through Sunny, rather towards his programming. He didn't really care, as he was just excited to be getting someone new around the daycare. He had been programmed so close to humans and yet didn't have much experience with the adult ones. Most of the time, he would sneak out of the daycare would be to see the DJ at the dance floor. What a nice fellow. Maintenance finished up its routine check and Sunny bounced around excitedly, waiting for his new coworker and the kids to come in for the day.

Moon was thoroughly checked out for the day, as long as the lights were on, he didn't really care all that much what was going on. Of course with such an excitable partner sharing a mind, Moon was irritably paying attention this time. As much as he tried to check out.

"Isn't this so exciting?" Sunny asked, grinning. He molded his soft face to mimic moon's response. "Oh golly, a new friend!"

"I don't talk like that. Or sound like that."

"We have nearly the same voice," Sunny stated, though Moon took the moment to finally catch some peace and quiet. "Well then. I should clean for the new friend!"

They were both clean freaks, but Moon mainly took care of that stuff later when the children were gone and not making a mess. As much as Sunny loved to keep Moon involved, it was good Moon wasn't paying close attention during the day. He was rather sleepy most of the time, but if he had that much interactions with humans he would flip. On the contrast, Sunny hadn't slept a wink in his life. During recharge cycles, he would stand and watch out his station window. If he didn't get enough interaction, he would flip.

Sunny went around and tidied up the kid area before the large, comical castle doors opened up. They quickly zipped to the door to stand in front of the new person.

"Thanks," you said to the guard that had showed them in. As you turned around, you came face to face with Sunny. You jumped slightly, the lankiest animatronic you had seen bent nearly in half to look you in the face.

"HI THERE FRIEND! I'm Sundrop, but you can just call me Sunny," he stated, craning his head to get a good look at you. You were in a colorful shirt to appeal to the kids, but other than that you had a key ring with a few keys and a bag strewn over your shoulder. Not the most visually interesting thing in the room.

"Oh, uhm hi there," you replied. "I'm (y/n), it's nice to meet you Sunny."

You had been warned that the animatronics were basically like humans, minus a few functions here and there. Specifically the daycare attendant staring you down with intense yellow eyes. He had been designed human like and soft for the kids, while still excitable and electric. You didn't have much experience with animatronic, but you figured if you just treated him like a coworker, you couldn't go wrong.
