It's one week until the big day, and I'm here, writing these lines, because all the nice feelings inside of me are overwhelming, and I need to express them...

Taehyung is satisfied with that first sentence. The brown-haired man sits straighter in his bed, and keeps typing and forming sentences, in his tablet's notepad.

His brother Jimin is gonna marry next Friday, and he decided he wanna surprise him by doing a toast. Jimin doesn't expect that.

NO ONE would ever expect Taehyung doing a public speech.

The young man looks up, and stares into a random spot, recalling Jimin with that girl, the one who makes him the happiest. He finds the inspiration in that wholesome memory, and keeps writing more and more words, connecting sentences, creating something really touching, lovely and deep. The writing even makes his cute, brown eyes tear up a little.

He stops writing when he feels it's enough. He reads his work once, twice, thrice, as he fixes the text, erasing one word, adding another one, until he's completely satisfied with the result. He smiles to himself.

Tae jumps out of his bed, taking his tablet, and in two long steps he's in front of the big mirror of his bedroom, looking it carefully. He takes a deodorant from the shelter next to him (because it's similar to a microphone), looks at his reflection and gets ready to practice, all alone in his bedroom.

   He reads slowly. So slowly.

His lips start moving, trying to say the words in the screen, but...

Tae growls, but doesn't give up. He fills his lungs, and raises the tablet in front of him again.

   He reads again.

“It... I-it's... UGH, it's one... Uhm... It's one week u-until... AAAAHHHHG!”

Again, frustration. Again, the annoying lack of control over his own body.

He's 24 years old, and still cannot get over the stuttering he suffered since he was a child. He was actually doing so fine these days, he wouldn't stammer so much while talking. But then, his spirit craved for achieving a new goal.

He promised himself months ago he would give a toast in his brother's wedding party, giving him a present that he (and anyone who knows him) didn't expect. And Tae feels like he can't break a promise he made to himself.

The man presses the deodorant tightly, and sighs with his eyes closed. He's gonna try one more time.

“It's one... One week until... U-until the...” his breathing is hard “Big day, and... I'm... Here... AAAGHHHHH!”

Taehyung growls, and throws the deodorant to the mirror, making a startling sound that echoes on the walls. He clenches his teeth, feeling completely powerless.

He comes to his senses again, and steps worried to the mirror, to check if it has any damage. When he's there, he can see another spot of his room.

   The door.

And in the doorframe it's Seokjin, one of his dearest friends, looking at him silently, with a bit of sadness.
