There are many ways to make potions. One way is obtaining a glass bottle, and mixing all the ingredients in it.
If you need a bigger item to mix a potion in, you can always use a metal bucket.
If those don't work for you, if you can find a Cauldron, then that would be the way for you.

Now, you can make potions using many different ingredients. Depending on the amount of ingredients you add, and the ingredients you use, is what will be the outcome of the potion you make.
