Hanging Out with Ruby

*6 Weeks pass*
Ruby's POV
"It's a nice day don't you think Yang?" I ask looking at her "Yeah it is but it's boring though." Yang said with a small sigh "I wonder what (Yn) is doing." I say with out thought I sit up in my bed "Well would you like to join me to bother (Yn) and his team Yang?" I ask getting off my bed and walk to the door "Umm sure?" She answered getting up.

*Small time skip*

We make our way to (Yn)'s dorm room and all that could be heard is a loud thud after I knock and someone yell "I'LL GET IT!". Lubo open the door "oh hey Ruby. Looking for (Yn)?" He asked "Um…y-yeah." I answered a bit nervous "Alright come in and who is that behind you?" He moved away from the door and while asking "I'm Yang." She answered waving "Lubo." He said with a smile and a nod "(YN) GET YOUR SELF OUT HERE NOW!" Lubo yells as he walks to one door then pounds on it. "ALRIGHT!" (Yn) yelled he walks out of the room still putting on his shirt "Alright Lubo wh-" he stops mid sentence seeing me and Yang after he finished putting on the shirt.

"…Hi…how are you doing?" He said feeling awkward "I'm good." Ruby and Yang say

(Yn)'s POV
"That's good." I say to the both of them "Yeah my little sis wanted to bother her favorite person." Yang said grinning and poking Ruby "Hey stop!" Ruby said trying to stop Yangs poking "Alright break it up you two." I say letting out a sigh and walking towards the girls.

"And this is the part I leave have a good time you love birds." Yang said walking away from both of us "Hey!" Ruby said getting flustered and blushing at Yang's statement "Come on Yang. Leave us alone." I say.

No one's POV
"Well then this is interesting." Rebecca said looking at the two just standing there in an awkward silence Lubo was talking with Yang near the door.

"So…umm." Ruby tried to break the awkward silence but couldn't get any more words out "You want to walk around the courtyard?" (Yn) asked Ruby nods

Ruby's POV
"Ok let me put on my boots and we'll be on our way." He said walking back into his room and I follow behind him he sits on his bed I look around his room I see his big backpack and vest thing and a helmet with goggles and sunglasses on it "So why do you have your gear in your room next to your bed and not in your locker?" I ask now looking at him he lets out a small sigh "It's just a force of habit I guess due to my tour in Afghanistan." He said looking at the vest and other things I guess he saw my confused look and smiled "I won't bore you with it now. Let's just walk." (Yn) gets up and starts walking.

*Small Time Skip*

We where walking I don't know why but I just felt like I had butterfly's in my stomach "So…Ruby are you feeling ok?" He asked me as we stopped "Y-yeah I'm good." I answer we both sit down under a big tree "Hey (Yn)." I ask he looks at me "Yes?"

"What did you mean by I won't bore you with it now?" I asked tilting my head he lets out a quiet sigh "I'll give you the short version of what I told my team. Okay." (Yn) said while leaning his head back and looking at the sky "Ok." I answer "I was a soldier in the United States Army I was in a Chinook with my team we where ambushed several of my Teammates where killed by the gunfire then we got hit by a RPG I was knocked out after it hit the Chinook and I woke up a few miles away from a city we met and now I'm here at Beacon." He said as he looked at me with a smile but something didn't feel right about him it was the dull look in his eyes.

"(Yn) are you ok?" I ask grabbing onto his sleeve "Yeah I'm good." He answered I didn't believe him. I may not understand people that much but there was something bothering him I could tell "If there's something bothering you (Yn) you could tell me. You know that right." I say to him with a smile he gives a small smile back "Got it Ruby." He said.

(Yn)'s POV
It barely set in what happened and that this is my new life now I was trying to deny what was going on but once I told it the second time it's when I realized that this isn't fake, I lost my friend in Afghanistan and lost my friends and family back stateside when I got out here. "If there's something bothering you (Yn) you could tell me. You know that right." Ruby said as that's what snapped me out of my head "Got it Ruby." I say to her.

We where sitting under the tree still and were talking about random stuff I can't understand why I feel happy and nervous when it's just us two talking about random crap and I think I'm falling for her.

"So... Ruby." I say still looking at her "Yes." She answered looking at me "Why do you want to be a huntress?" I ask her "Well I want to help people feel safe when we come save the day." Ruby said I don't know why I couldn't stop looking into her eyes they where beautiful and it seems like you could get lost for hours just looking into them.

"Umm… (Yn) you ok?" she asked tilting her head a bit breaking my gaze into her eyes "S-sorry." I say looking away while blushing heavily we stood there sitting in awkward silence for a few long seconds which felt like an eternity.

Ruby's POV
"Why do you want to be a huntress?" (Yn) asked me "Well I want to help people feel safe when we come and save the day." I give the him the answer with a smile but he didn't say anything after he was staring at me I see him turn a little bit red and felt butterflies in my stomach all of a sudden.

"Umm… (Yn) you ok?" I ask seemingly snapping him out a trans "S-sorry." He said stuttering  he turned as red as my hood and looked away and we sat there in silence for a few seconds. "You want to go back the dorms?" I asked feeling awkward "Ye-yeah." He said in agreement we get up and walk to the dorm building.

We made it back "Well bye (Yn)." I sey to him "See you later Ruby and sleep well." He said before I closed the door.

(Yn)'s POV
"Well bye (Yn)." Ruby said with a small wave and smile "See you later Ruby and sleep well." I say as she closes the door and I start walking to my room "what the fuck just happened earlier when we were out there I think I'm falling for her." I say in my head as I open my room door to see Lubo in a choke Hold by Rebecca.

Rebecca was yelling intelligible nonsense and Lubo was yelling "Uncle!" and "I'm sorry!" I feel like this is none of my business so I close the door and go to the roof to think and lay down and look at the sky. *Sigh* "I fucking hat myself for making Ruby uncomfortable today." I say to myself.
