Author's Note: READ!!!! This is probably the longest chapter ever and you'll fucking love it so much you might propose to me right now. This is what I call DRAMA LLAMA! So, yes, it's long, and I wanted to say this: I think I'll make this into a LEGIT series I put on Amazon, but I'll have to change it a LOT cause I can't sell Mortal Kombat cause they'll take my ass to court. ANNNDDD SOOOOO I ask your help to come up with names for EVERYONE except Keanu, Liu, and Chutar; I came up with those myself. Also names for the competition itself and some things like that. Got it? Good. ENJOY LOVELIES!

Chapter 6: The Fight (Part One)

I sat bolt upright in my bed, wondering what the hell was happening. Ever since Sonya popped up at my door I’ve been confused, upset, or drunk. I kind of liked that last one best. It was better than this, at least. At least when I was slobbering all over my pillow with a bottle in my hand I wasn’t asking myself whether Keanu still loved me!

Johnny said he was in my room last night, after I heard someone through my stupor that they had ‘feelings’ for me. God, I hope it wasn’t true. Keanu can’t still love me; not after everything that’s happened. There’s no possible way anything will come of it. I’ll have to reject him, and I hate doing that.

Not that I’ve had to do that much.

I closed my eyes and thought hard about it. Keanu sure hadn’t shown any signs of still loving me, or even having an inkling of feelings for me. He wouldn’t talk to me or even look at me! This felt so out of the blue I couldn’t even comprehend it. Was Johnny sure it was Keanu? Could it have been someone else? Not that there’s anyone else to have ‘feelings’ for me.

Oh sweet Jesus, it was Keanu.

“Nooooooo,” I groaned.

“What’s wrong?”

I jumped at Kenshi’s voice. I hadn’t heard him come in. “Stop doing that!” I yelled, throwing a pillow at him. He caught it in his hands and threw it back at me with more force. It hit me in the face.

“What’s wrong?” he repeated with a chuckle.

“Nothing,”

He lifted a brow behind his blindfold. I knew it was pointless for me to deny anything being wrong. He probably saw what was wrong. I decided to pretend I didn’t know he could see my thoughts and changed the subject.

“What happened yesterday?” I asked.

He frowned, “I thought Johnny told you.”

“No,” I shook my head, “I meant yesterday, when I was…freaking out. Liu told you to do something… I remember seeing snow and…”

“I thought it would calm you down.”

“What was that?”

He sighed and sat on the edge of my bed. “It’s a telepathic trick. Once you get really good at it you can manipulate thoughts or their vision. I made you calm down by putting good thoughts in your head. Then, once the person is calm enough, you can lull them to sleep. It’s hard to learn; only a few people know it, including me.”

I frowned, “So you basically threw a blanket over my eyes until I calmed down?”

He chuckled, “Yes, in a way.”

“I’m not a fucking ‘gator,” I threw the pillow back in his face. “And just for future reference, I hate snow. It was just confusing.”

Kenshi stood and went over to my dresser where he opened the bottom drawer and got out a denim skirt I didn’t even know I had, a black tank top, and a black knit sweater to go over the tank top. I was impressed by his ability to pick out a fairly cute outfit without even being able to see. However, the feeling of awe was quickly replaced with confusion.
