Today was a special day for Rocky. This year's Pup-tacular is going to see who's the bestest pup ever for Pup-tacular, and the winner would get the biggest golden bone. It made Rocky feel excited. But, he knew he needed to get clean up for it.
Rocky: this is it. This the big one Rocky. So you have to look your best
Ryder: Katie is almost here Rocky
Rocky: ok, oh, one more thing?
Ryder: yep, he can go with you
Rocky: ok, I'll go get Joshie
Joshie was sitting on a beanbag, watching his tablet. Rocky came over to tell to come with him.
Rocky: Joshie!! Hey bud
Joshie: oh hey Rocky
Rocky: I was wondering if you could come with me to Pup-tacular?
Joshie: ummmmmm
Rocky: please? You came with me last time
Joshie: ok, I'll go with you
Rocky: yes! Come on, Katie is waiting for us
Katie was outside waiting for Rocky. She was confused about why Joshie was hopping on board.
Rocky: oh, can Joshie come with us like last time?
Katie: Rocky, you don't need to have Joshie come with you
Rocky: pleeeeaaaaassseee?
Katie: Rocky...........
Rocky: I'll give you my best puppy eyes
Katie: go ahead
Rocky did so as his eyes gave off a sad little pup face with ears down, pupils big, and whimpering. Katie was defeated as she told Joshie to hop on.
Rocky: I knew you couldn't resist my pup eyes
Katie: yeah, and your too good at it
They laughed and headed on over to Katie's salon. When they got in, Rocky saw the bathtub and was started getting nervous.
Rocky: *gulps* i..I've got this
Joshie: are you sure?
Rocky: i..I don't know
Katie: don't worry Rocky, this will be over before you know it
Rocky: o..o..ok, here goes nothing
Katie picked him but stopped her.
Rocky: WAIT!!!!??!
Katie: what? What's wrong?
Rocky: u..u..umm Joshie hasn't gotten a drink yet. Y..yeah that's it
Katie: Joshie are you thirsty?
Joshie: well, actually, yes. I would like chocolate milk?
Katie: I have little chocolate milk boxes if want to have some?
Joshie: sure, I can go with that. Thanks Katie
Katie: your welcome. Now, Rocky? Did you try stalling?
Rocky: w..well i..I *sighs* y..yeah
Katie: Rocky, were never going to get it done if you stall. Besides, we can go by fast
Rocky: i..I'm just so a..afraid of water a..and getting wet
Katie: ohhh Rocky, sometimes getting wet is important for are bodies. If we don't have baths or showers, then you start to smell really bad. You don't want that right?
