We had been in quarantine for months now and school was at home, on our chromebooks and in zoom. It was a bit of a struggle throughout most of the year when all I wanted to do was stay in bed and hope the pandemic would be over soon.
Two weeks they said.🤨 Two weeks later, two months later, two years later.....😒😷😖
But anyways it was the month of September and we had a new student in my social studies class who just moved here. He was bright, smart, attentive, talkative, always had his camera on and I thought he was really cute.
So I just spent the majority of the year staring at his screen during social studies. He was even cuter when we went back to school in person.
I admired everything about Ezra that it was almost inspiring me to be more participant in class. Almost. Don't get it twisted there was still no way I would of raised my hand all the time.
He was everything I could of wanted and maybe more. And of course there was always the subtle glances at him and occasionally catching his eye. I even followed him on Instagram.
But then he gotta girlfriend and everyone was talking about it so...that sucked but it was okay because next year was...FRESHMAN YEAR and the first year of high school Wooooooo 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳. 🖤💖
