"Almost there," you say reassuring Collector as you made your way to the owl house. "Why are we going?" He ask holding you hand and in the other your old toy. "Cause I have a couple questions and Eda happens to be the only person I know to help," you answer looking at him and quickly looking back up.

The thing is Eda is the only one you know who did this that you know and even though you could look it up that was to hectic. See the thing you need is to know where to get the adoption papers for Collector to legally be your kid. "Can I adopt this god like child?" You thought as you approached the front door.

"Hoot hoot what's the password?" Hooty ask. "No time Hooty," you say opening the door. "EDA IM HERE!" You yell. "Oh and good morning Lilith," to which you got a polite nod in return. "Alright let's talk in the kitchen," Eda say descending the stairs. "Alright buddy I need you to go play with King and/or Lilith for me while I talk with Eda," you say kneeling down and placing your hands on Collector's shoulders. "Are you leaving again?" He ask vocie becoming more panicked. "No no no! I just need some information on some paper work and what to do for a business," you say. "Okay then, Pinky swear you'll not leave me again!" He exclaims holding up his pinky. "I pinky swear," you say taking his pinky in yours.

"I'll be in th e kitchen if you need anything," you say walking over to Eda's side and heading in. Checking to make sure he can't hear you turn back to Eda. "How did you adopt King," you quietly ask. "We'll he did it without me knowing paper work and everything," she answer reminiscing the event on the cliff top. "All I did was sign the papers, but I can get King now and you talk to him," she say heading to the living room. "Okay," you say.

"You needed me," King walks in and struggles to get on on the the chairs. "Yeah so um how did you get ahold of the adoption papers?" You ask leaning closer. "Oh! Me and Luz went to this one place in town and a demon there gave us the papers after we payed and stayed all we had to do was sign them and bring it back so they could approve of it," he says. "Oh okay and so do you remember where the store is?" "Nope but it was a bright blue with a yellow roof, and had a round green door. I think the sigh above the entrance said "something adoption center"," he answers trying to remember.

"Okay thank you," you say getting up and heading into the living room to leave. "Collector come on honey time to leave," you say. Running up to you and making grabbing hands to be picked up looking kind of panicked. Picking him only for him to hide right into your neck. "Um well goodbye Eda and King thanks for the help," you say walking to the door. "Bye Lilith!" You yell over your shoulder heading out. "Come again!" She yells back. "Goodbye Hooty," "Goodbye (Y/n)~ hoot hoot," he says.

And with time to spear you head back home to do a bit more research. "Wonder what's got Collector so spooked," you thought.

(POV: Collector's)

As mom walked away I turned to King only to be met with a pair of boots. Looking up I see Lilith with a note pad and pen. "So Collector did you figure out what you are yet?" She ask getting close making me step back. "Nope like I said I came from the stars," I answer. "Mhm well my I ask you some more questions?" "I guess," I say hugging the toy closer. "Marvelous! Now what all different abilities can you do?" She ask. "Well I can-" "COLLECTOR!" King yells. "King!" I say leaving my spot and running over to him. "Do you want to play a game?" I ask. "Yeah! What do you want to do?" "King (Y/n) needs you," Eda say turning the corner. "Okay I'll be back," He tells me before leaving.

"So kid what do you want to do?" Eda ask. "Right now I want to leave," I mumble going to sit on the couch. "So about those questions. Do you know your birth parents?" "Hmm Nope just (Y/n) and their enough for me!" I answer. "Okay how about did you know there was a whole cult for you?" She ask writing on her notepad. "Umm a little bit," I say try to remember. "But then I found out they tried to hurt King so I hurt them,". Eda and Lilith looked kind of scared at this. Just then Eda got really close. "If you ever hurt, scare, or make (Y/n) cry so help me I will send you back to your pathetic shadow state you got it," she threatens. "Yes," I say nodding me head quickly and with that Eda heads up stairs.

"Good now how about a game?" Lilith requests. "Okay!" "How about 20 questions. It a game we're each player gets to ask 20 questions and learn new thing about each other," she explains. "Yeah new game!" "Alright I'll go first. Collector what's your biggest fear?" She ask. "Hmm I think it would be losing mom," I answer. "What do you mean by losing?" "Like if she died," "Would you ever kill (Y/n)?" She ask raising a brow. "No!" "How do you know?" She ask getting to close for comfort. "I don't like this anymore," I say moving away from her.

"Collector come on honey time to leave!" I hear mom yell. I run up to her holding up my hands so she picks me up and takes me away from this weirdos. After saying goodbye to everyone we head back home. I would never hurt mom, but I will hurt them if they do anything like that again. "You okay kid you seem kind of spooked?" Mom ask glancing at me. "Yeah I'm fine now I just want to go home," I answer snuggling closer to her. "Alright then," she say continuing going home.
