We were in the ambulance and I wasn't sure what to do. I just cussed my dad out so I won't have a place to stay but I can't go back, he'll take her from me and I can't loose her, then I saw her laying on a stretcher, having a resuscitator bag being pumped by an emt. And I'm praying that I'm not gonna loose her to this. She had blood on her head as they wrapped tight bandages around it. God who did this to her? Why was I not there to protect her? I'm so stupid!! When we got to the hospital she was pulled to a small operation but they wouldn't let me in and a nurse led me to a waiting room. (A/N If you don't know a resuscitation bag is it's basically a manual breathing pump they use when you need oxygen fast. I know this all too well as I grew up in hospitals and had lots of moments were they have use a resuscitation on me. So I will insert a picture so you know what it looks like)

As soon I was in the waiting room a nurse gave me a clip board with paper work.
Nurse: "Does she have parents young man? I need to give them a call."
Adrian: "Tom and Sabine Dupain Cheng."
Nurse: "Ok and do you know why she's here?"
Adrian: "I'm not sure who did it and what went down but our school was on fire and she wasn't outside with us so I ran back in and found her in the bathroom all battered and bloody but I have reason to suspect someone set the fire because it was started outside the bathroom were I found her."
Nurse: "Ok and you were in there for how long were you in there before getting out."
Adrian: "It took me two minutes to find her and another three minutes to get out."
Nurse: "Ok we need to check you out to make sure nothing is damaged for your smoke inhalation."
Adrian: "But I feel fine."
Nurse: "It's just a precaution kid."
They ran a few tests on Adrian and determined he was fine and had no damage. Just then the Dupain Chengs showed up.
Sabine: "Adrian are you ok? How's our daughter?"
Adrian: "I'm fine but Marinette I....."
Adrian started crying.
Adrian: "I'M SO SORRY!!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT HER ALONE!! I SHOULD'VE PROTECTED HER!! I'M SO STUPID."
Tom: "It's ok son."
Sabine: "Yes it wasn't your fault sweetheart. You can't be with her 24/7."
Sabine pulled Adrian into a comforting hug as he cried in her shoulder. Just then the nurse came out.
Nurse: "Marinette's people."
Adrian: "How is she?!? Is she ok?!? Is she alive?!? Will sh-"
