Comfort In Chat

Chat Noir: "Hey Princess."

Marinette: *runs up to chat and hugs him.*

Chat Noir: "Princess please don't cry. What's wrong?"

Marinette: "My friends.....everyone....everyone hates me. Lila......I'm so tired of this, why does she hate me so much Chat? I just wanted her to quit lying."

Chat Noir: (Lila. Marinette doesn't deserve this. My Princess is hurting because of that little two timing prick!) "Ok first you need to take a breath and then you are going to tell me what Lila did to you."

Marinette: *takes a few deep breaths.* "It started when we were in class a while back. I knew Lila was lying so I confronted her about it  and she said she would turn all my friends against me witch I didn't believe because I thought my friends would believe me. Guess I wrong. How could've I've been so stupid?"

Chat Noir: "Hey, you are not stupid."

Marinette: "I must've done something wrong if they believe her over me."

Chat Noir: "Hey look at me. You did nothing wrong. Your the most awesome, smart, kind, most beautiful girl I know."

Marinette: "Y you really think so?"

Chat Noir: "I know so." *wipes a tear from her cheek.*

Marinette: "Thanks Chat that really means a lot ."

Chat Noir: "No problem Princess."

Marinette stopped crying and cuddled up to Chat, feeling safe and at peace not wanting to ever leave that position but she knew he had to leave soon.

Marinette: "Chat?"

Chat: "Yes Princess?"

Marinette: "I'm scared to go back tomorrow. What if she comes after me again."

Chat: "Marinette I know your scared but I promise nothing is going to happen to you because I'll be watching close and if anything does happen I will be there fast than lightning."

Marinette: "Promise?"

Chat: "I promise."

Chat looked at the clock and realised it was getting late so he tucked Marinette into bed and kissed her forehead.

Chat: "Good night princess. Have sweet dreams and I'll come back tomorrow night."

Marinette: "Good night Chat."

After Chat left Marinette got her phone from under her pillow and looked at her picture of Alya and her one last time.

Marinette: "Alya I don't know why you believed Lila over your best friend or why you said all those mean things about when you know me better than anyone but I hope you'll be my friend again some day. I'm gonna miss all of our good times and laughs."

Tikki: "Oh Marinette. Don't worry I'm sure Alya will come around. She probably just wasn't herself today. But you should go to sleep."

Marinette: "Yeah I hope your right Tikki. Anyways goodnight."

Tikki: "Goodnight Marinette."

And with that Marinette fell asleep while Tikki pondered herself on all the events from that very stressful day. She wondered how her owner's friends could think so little of her and say all those mean things when they knew her so well. She wondered how they could believe a word Lie-la said and be so blinded by lies that were obviously not true. Marinette even stood up for her friends when Lila was talking crap about them and they turn on her. That made Tikki mad and angry at them especially Alya because besides Tikki Alya was the other one who knew Marinette better than even her own parents. She had a priority to keep Marinette sane so she doesn't get acummatized but she also wanted to keep Marinette happy because she hated to see her sad. She knew all the secrecy about her owner's double life wasn't helping plus she couldn't tell anyone or write in her diary about it, basically couldn't vent to anyone but Tikki and that helped but Tikki knew that she needed to talk to an actual human but she couldn't. Now all this trouble with her friends and Lila is probably making it ten times worse and that made Tikki sad. She felt sorry for Marinette and wish she could make it all better in the snap of a finger, but even for a magical kwami of creation there was only so much she could do. She went ahead and snuggled up to Marinette's cheek feeling her warm breath as she was breathing and after thinking about Marinette's happiness and well being for an hour, she was finally able to fall asleep, leaving the night quiet, sad, and lonely. Hopefully tomorrow would be a better day.
