Chapter 8

**Skip a week**

Evelyn's pov.

It's been a week since I got out of the hospital so that means I get my crutches today. Yay! (Note the sarcasm)

Matt asked me out on a date for tomorrow night but I'm scared of how Nash and Hayes will react when I tell them.

Hadley now lives in the apartment with all of us because I found out that her family doesn't take care of her. I wasn't going to just let her live like that so, I let her stay with us. Plus she was here half the time anyway before she was living with us.

"Evelyn, You're crutches are here!" Nash yelled from downstairs.

"Well I can't get down the stairs with my wheel chair!" I yelled back.

"Ugh I'm sending Matt up to help you down, because I'm lazy." Nash explained.

Matt ran up the stairs and picked me up out of my wheel chair.

"Don't worry Matt the superman is here!" Matt said.

"Correction, MY superman," I giggled a little and Matt kissed me on the cheek, luckily my brothers weren't watching or else they would probably freak.

Once we got downstairs Matt put me on the couch and Nash got the crutches.

"Wait Nash I want to try and walk on them before you give them to Evelyn," Hadley said.

"Ok but be careful, you're really clumsy," Nash handed the crutches over to Hadley. I was fine with her trying them out, I'm just a little scared for her because as Nash said she's really clumsy.

At first Hadley couldn't even get her arms on them. Then, she started swinging them around.

"This is way more fun than walking on them!" Hadley happily said while spinning in circles with the crutches.

Then Cam walked in, he was on his phone and not paying attention. Hadley accidentally hit him in the stomach with a crutch and he fell to the ground.😂

"Oops I kill you," She jokingly giggled. If Cam wasn't practically her brother, he would probably be hurt but he was fine.

Then the usual thing happened, Cam chased her around the house and it ended up in a tickle war.

"Ok you ready for the crutches?" Hayes asked while picking them up from the ground.

"Ok but be warned I may fail," I laughed.

Hayes gave me the crutches and helped me get used to them. I only fell 2 times and got used to them pretty quickly. So I guess that's a plus😂

**skip to the next night**

Tonight's the night for my date with Matt. I still haven't told Hayes or Nash.

"Hadley, help me with my outfit, you're fashionable." I said and plopped down onto my bed.

"Omg! I love picking out date outfits!" Hadley squealed.

"Matt says it's a surprise date, he only told me it will be more casual and not fancy," I told Hadley.

"Ok, I have the perfect outfit," she got everything and I put it on. (Outfit above)

"This is amazing, Thanks Hadley," I said happily.

Somehow Matt and I left the house without anyone asking questions and stuff.

"So will you tell me where we're going now?" I asked hopefully and Matt started up the car.

"I told you it's a surprise date, so just wait and you'll see," Matt said.

The whole way there he held my hand and we talked non-stop. He also played my fav band, one direction obviously. So already this was the best date I've ever been on, I've only been on 2 dates but whatever this was way better than both of them.

He finally pulled into a parking lot and parked the car but I couldn't really tell where we were at.

"Where are we at? I can't tell," I asked Matt.

"Turn around." He added and I turned around to see the biggest mini golf course I've ever seen, btw I love mini golf so I got really happy.

"Omg! Matt I love mini golf even tho sometimes I suck but let's go!" I happily yelled. Matt just laughed at my excitement and then he threw me up onto his back.

"Let's go babe," He said and started walking with me on his back.

Sorry this was kinda short, I felt like I needed to update so yeah. I get out on summer break in 2 weeks so I'll be updating a lot more once I get out of school!😛
